Special & Seasonal Entertainment plays a large role in the Tokyo Disney Parks. Below are some of the larger events and some information on each. I was able to visit during the Easter celebration in 2015 and include some thoughts and video from that event. They also have a large Halloween and Christmas season as well as anniversary celebrations and smaller seasonal events in between.

 
Easter

Easter is a big production in Tokyo with decorations, shows, parades, events running from the beginning of April through June.   Throughout the park are esater decorations and an egg hunt. The culmination is the parade, the Hippity Hoppity Springtime.
