Lost River Delta

Park Map Description: Deep within the remote Central American jungles the ruins of an ancient civilization await you.

The Lost River Delta is straight out of an Indiana Jones film. It spans both sides of the water way and features two Indiana Jones based attractions. It is also furthest from the park entrance. In addition it has two character greeting locations.

Geek's Thoughts & Observations

My First Impressions from April 2015:

  • Indiana Jones - Thanks to the rainy and cold weather at one point I had the large queue room to myself (excluding cast members).   The attraction is very very similar to Anaheim’s with a couple of twists and new effects.  The other big difference is the effects here appeared to all be working whereas Anaheim has been having problems in recent years.   It was kind of odd for me to hear Indy speaking Japanese throughout.  Also the Cast Members were making announcements but it was all in Japanese so no idea what they were saying.   The ride itself seemed smoother to me.  Not sure if it was just my seat or the programming.  The fireball effect was the highlight of the changes for me!

  • The character greeting trails reminded me of the former Camp Minnie Mickey area of the Animal Kingdom but more consolidated and details.
