Geek's Thoughts & Observations

I did not stay at the hotel nor have I been in any of the rooms or eaten at any of the dining locations so I cannot comment on those aspects. I did spend some time walking through the hotel common areas on the first floor and the hotel has a definite Disney feel to it. It does not have the same grand feel of the MiraCosta or Disneyland Hotel. It felt much more "approachable". Just like the other two there was a lot of activity in the lobby and common areas.

This hotel is not directly on the Resort Line. To reach the Monorail you have to take a Resort Cruiser (bus) or walk through Ikspiari. To reach either theme park you have to walk a good distance or take the Resort Cruiser. This is the least expensive of the Disney Hotels to stay in and I think this transportation has a lot to do with it. If your goal is to experience Disney service this may be a worthwhile option to consider.
