Tokyo Disneyland Hotel

Geek's Thoughts & Observations

There are three Disney branded hotels in Tokyo. As you would expect they are at the high end of the price range and they fill up extremely fast. It is not uncommon for many nights to sell out as soon as the booking window opens.

When we went in 2015 I seriously considered the Disney Hotels but then found rates that substantially less to stay at the official hotels and I weighed the cost/benefit and opted to go with the Hilton. The Disney hotels would have been much nicer rooms and slightly quicker access to one of the two parks depending on where you stayed potentially but overall I could not bring myself to pay the almost double rate to stay there. I did explore all three hotels though and spend some time there. In the end it is really a personal decision on what you want to spend your money on and if they are worth it (I give the same advice for Deluxe Resorts at Walt Disney World). They are incredible hotels to visit, even if you are not staying there.

The official hotels are located on the Disney Resort Line near Bayside Station, this is the back side of the parks between them and Tokyo Bay. Each hotel offers a Resort Cruiser shuttle that cycles all day to take you to the Resort Line.
