Geek's Thoughts & Observations

For my April 2015 trip we opted to stay at the Hilton Tokyo Bay. I had heard it was a decent hotel and the pricing was much more in my target range than the Disney Hotels. Also they had a class of rooms with three beds vs two in most other hotels. It was a Family (Happy Magic) room which worked out great for three adults traveling together. The room was geared toward young kids but having three beds counter balanced it. Also we had a Disney view which was very nice to wake up and go to bed looking at Space Mountain and Cinderella Castle. I thought our room was showing a fair amount of wear and seemed it a little run down but other than that the room was fine. We did not eat at any of the hotel restaurants or use any other amenities of the hotel. To reach Disney you could take a Resort Cruiser shuttle that cycled all day to Bayside Station or walk across the street to the Bayside Station or hike to the park across the parking lot. We opted to use the Resort Cruiser all the time. I did the walk once the last day just to see and it was only a few minutes.
