Tomorrowland

Tomorrowland is home of attractions for all ages and tastes. You can rocket through the cosmos in Space Mountain or take a scenic tour of Tomorrowland on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority(TTA - Peoplemover). You can take a spin high about on the Astro Orbitor(used to be Rocket Jets) or stay closer to the ground with a spin on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. This land is also home to the classic Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. In 2003 the land welcomes Stitch in his own out of this world show.

Geek's Thoughts & Suggestions

Tomorrowland offers everything ranging from Circle Vision films to thrilling rides through "outter space". In this land you will find a video arcade to suck more of your money, and a small theater to see Character shows. I really enjoyed Time Keeper (Circle Vision), Robin Williams was great (he does the voice of one of the characters). Unfortunately this attraction runs only during the extremely busy season.

Another of my favorite rides, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority (the People Mover for all you Disney Geeks ) is located here. The People Mover will give you a chance to sit back and relax and see an overview of Tomorrowland. The two best things about the TTA (besides the view) are that there is usually no wait at all and the breeze feels great. Its also a good spot to sit out a rain storm (its covered and fairly well protected).

My new favorite ride is Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. This is an interactive ride. You can control where your vehicle points and get to "shoot" targets and it adds up your score for you. It's a definite must see. LazyGeek is convinced this game is "rigged", but its really because of his total lack of motor skills.

Also we highly recommend checking out the Carousel of Progress. Its another of the "classic" Disney attractions. It was designed by Disney (Walt) for the 1964 World's Fair in New York. It was then moved to Disneyland for several years and now is at Walt Disney World. See it before its gone… It is one of the only attractions in Florida that has Walt's "personal" touch and there are always rumors of it being shut down.
