Disney Springs Resorts

The Disney Springs Resort area gives you a diverse selection of rooms. Ranging from traditional hotel rooms at the Official Resorts of WDW, to treehouse villas as part of Saratoga Springs, to a moderate room overlooking the river in a stately mansion facade.

Port Orleans is the largest resort in this area. It consists of two resorts actually. The Riverside and French Quarter. The French Quarter is the original Port Orleans and the Riverside is the original Dixie Landings resort, before the two were combined.

There are also two Disney Vacation Club properties located in this area. The first is the original Vacation Club Resort, Old Key West. The second opened in 2004 and is called Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. This resort was the Disney Institute and Disney Village Resort.

The Geek's Thoughts & Suggestions

Our favorite "moderate" Disney Resort is Port Orleans Riverside. Even if not staying there taking a trip up the Sassagoula river is a relaxing expereience.
