Offsite Resorts are non-Disney run resorts in the local Orlando Area. Here you have resorts/hotels/motels and everything in between. Prices, accomodations, and quality run the full spectrum. Currently we have an affiliate program with the Gaylord Palms Resort (for those of you familiar with the area this is the giant resort that is located right before Disney on Osceola Parkway. Throughout the year they offer discounted rates to Disney fan sites, including us, so click the resort title to find out the current deals Gaylord Palms Resort Also if you are planning on booking or visiting be sure to use our link to help support disneygeek.com (your rates are the same, we just get credit for the "sale")...

The Geek's Thoughts & Suggestions |
I have not stayed offsite for any length of time in quite a while. This is for several reasons, most of which revolve around convience for me. When I go on vacation I do not want to drive (I drive 100 miles round trip to work every day), so I don't want to rent a car and I am impatient so I want the shortest transportation routes available and at WDW that means staying on property. Also add in the fact that when I go to central florida all I go for is WDW usually, I don't go to the other theme parks so I have no real reason to leave... If you have recently stayed at an offsite resort and would like to share your comments please drop me a line (disneygeek@disneygeek.com) |
