EPCOT - World Showcase |
World Showcase is the "second half" of EPCOT center. It is comprised of pavilions representing several nations from around the globe. Each pavilion is staffed with people from that country and is sponsored by that country. Starting on your left as you approach World Showcase is Mexico, Norway, China, the outpost, Germany, Italy, U.S.A. (furthest away), Japan, Morocco, France, the International Gateway, United Kingdom, and Canada. Each pavilion has something original to explore ranging from a film, to an attraction, to dining and shopping. The highlights of each are the architecture and cast members working it. Note World Showcase opens later than the rest of the park.

Geek's Thoughts & Suggestions |
To get the most out of your World Showcase experience allow plenty of "free time" to just wonder around the pavilions and be sure to look at the detail in each. Also spend some time watching the various performing groups throughout World Showcase. It adds a tremendous amount to your experience. We also recommend seeing the pavilions during the day and at night, they are different and you notice different aspects depending on the time of day and the season. The two main events for World Showcase are the International Flower & Garden festival held each Spring and the Food & Wine Festival each Fall. ** Do not Miss the nightly Luminous the Symphony of Us This show is presented nightly and can be viewed from anywhere around World Showcase Lagoon. Allow plenty of time to get from place to place. The distance around the lagoon is quite long and sometimes crowded so allow plenty of time if you have to be somewhere at a specific time. Note World Showcase opens later than the rest of the park.
