EPCOT - Canada

Our neighbor to the North is represented well in this pavilion. You can see the Canadian Rockies, Victoria Gardens, and other famous landmarks scaled down for World Showcase. There is an excellent steakhouse, Le Cellier located below the entrance area. In the back of the pavilion is the theater that houses O Canada, a 360 degree, nine screen film that showcases some of the highlights of Canada.

On the stage in front(well really off to the side of the front) of the pavilion groups such as Off Kilter perform and are not to be missed.

Geek's Thoughts & Suggestions

I really enjoyed the Canadian circle vision film. It is starting to get a little dated, but I think it is the best, of the original films, film at the park. I do not know why either. I just liked it. If you do not know, a circle vision film is a film that is shot with multiple cameras to give the audience a complete 360 degree view when watching the film (it is also projected using multiple projectors, nine to be exact).

The Le Cellier Steakhouse is the Geek's favorite restaurant in EPCOT. The meal starts off with several types of bread sticks (LazyGeek says the pretzel bread sticks are better than Germany's pretzels). The steaks are not to be missed and rank right behind the Yachtsman Steakhouse ones in our book.

For a relaxing and cool treat its nice to visit the film during the afternoon heat or to avoid a rain storm.
