Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

My family and I stayed here for 4 days during our 1990 trip to WDW. We really liked the resort, it was very relaxing and gave the impression of being a little secluded compared to the other MK resorts on the monorail line. The location is great for getting to the Magic Kingdom (only a short monorail or boat ride away) and EPCOT. To get to EPCOT you can walk to the TTC and catch the monorail to EPCOT.

By mid-2006 a complete renovation of all guest rooms is scheduled to be complete. This process started in May 2005 and includes completely remodeled rooms that bring them up to modern standards, including LCD TVs in every room.

The Geek's Thoughts & Suggestions

This is really a great resort. I would recommend the Polynesian over the others that are in its immediate price range. Another nice things about this resort is how it is so close to the TTC, which makes getting anywhere on property really easy. The drawback to the Polynesian is it is still located quite a ways away from the rest of WDW. The MK is on the far end of the property from the other WDW destinations.
