Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

The Grand Floridian Resort is the "Flagship" Resort of Walt Disney World, Disney's self proclaimed first class resort. It is a really good resort, but I think it is overpriced. I like some of the other Disney resorts better, namely the Beach & Yacht Clubs. The restaurants at the GF are really good. Narcoosees's is one of the Geek's favorite places to eat. It ranks right up there with the Yachtsman's Steakhouse at the Beach & Yacht Clubs. The GF is really in a good location if you like the Magic Kingdom, but getting to the rest of WDW can take some time. The other thing that struck me at the GF is many of the people staying there have attitudes… meaning they act as if they are "better than you". (Not all people, but enough to make it noticeable at times.).

The Geek's Thoughts & Suggestions

If you can make a trip out to the resort you should. The lobby and main building are incredible. Also try Narcoossee's it was really good and the view of the Seven Seas Lagoon is great.
