Typhoon Lagoon

Typhoon Lagoon is a great waterpark. Its location is off the beaten path. The tropical theming is extremely lush. Overall the park is pretty good, but compared to Blizzard Beach it seems to be lacking in things to do. If you are looking for a large wave pool, a couple slides, and a lot of beach to lay around on then this is your waterpark. If you are looking for a park filled with slides and things to do then go to Blizzard Beach. If you want to experience both parks (which I would recommend doing) go to Typhoon Lagoon first and you will be really impressed, then go to Blizzard Beach.

Another cool thing at Typhoon Lagoon is the background music. They play a lot of Beach Boy/surfer music and its really great to listen to (unless of course you do not like this kind of music then be warned...)

The Geek's Suggestions
If you want to go on the slides and rides and don't want to wait in line be sure to be there for the opening of the park in the morning. In the first hour or so you can pretty much walk right onto everything. It is much more fun and you can do a lot more, also it is cooler and you won't get sun burned as fast either because you won't be standing out in the sun as long waiting to get on the ride/slide.
