Trip Log:
Walked around the resort to see what was going on, not much again. Headed over to EPCOT, walked around Future world and headed to the Electric Umbrella to grab a pizza for lunch, then out for a walk around World Showcase, starting at Mexico. Stopped to watch the Voices of Liberty at the American Adventure. Finished the loop and took the monorail to the Magic Kingdom. A heavy crowd at the park. We walked through Adventureland to Frontierland and onto the Train back to Main Street. Left the Magic Kingdom and took the Bus back to the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Headed for the Yacht Club by way of the Animal Kingdom. Went to the Yachtsman for dinner, great as usual. Took the boat over to the Boardwalk and strolled along the Boardwalk and grabbed an ice cream cone for dessert and then over to EPCOT for the evening. Walked along the Lagoon and over to Mexico to ride the boat. Walked down to Norway and then found a spot for Illuninations. Watched it and hiked out to the bus to go back to the AKL.

Thoughts & Observations:

• The day started off great with a walk around the lodge, just a fun place to explore and then off to EPCOT for lunch.
• Took in the Countries by day, a slight difference in appearance. You could really see all the work they are doing, and which still need it.
• Big mistake of the day was to go to the Magic Kingdom. The place was jammed. I could not believe the heavy crowd. It was like the flood gates had opened at that park. We made our way through and decided it was too crazy and headed back to the AKL to regroup before dinner.
• We ate at the Yachtsman, my favorite restuarant. The meal was great as to be expected. We still cannot believe the low turn over rate at that restaurant. We saw several servers that we knew.
• Took our time going around the resort and over to the Boardwalk after dinner. We grabbed some Ice Cream, interesting note here, the first scoop is $2.50 but each additional is only $1.00 and they will give you extra bowls and spoons if you ask...
• Mexico seemed deserted, the boat ride had no one in sight.
• Capped our visit with Illuminations, tomorrow we head home..
