Trip Log:

Started our last day off with no alarm, but still up around 7ish. Packed a bit then grabbed breakfast at the lounge before heading off to Animal Kingdom for one last Safari run. Got to the park about 10 minutes before opening. Did the marathon walk to the back of the park (stopping for a minute to catch the opening ceremony in front of the Tree of Life. Made it on the Safari with only a couple minute wait. Then hit the exploration trail to check out the gorillas one last time before heading back to the front of the park and the bus back to the Beach Club. Once there, finished packing and headed down to meet our Towncar from Quicksilver at 11:30 and we were off to the airport and LAX to return home.

Thoughts & Observations:

• We figured out our time and realized we had enough time for a quick trip to Animal Kingdom for one more Safari. Luckily we were not disappointed and we were able to get some great Lion shots.

• This was our first park opening all trip, which really surprised us when we stopped to think about it. The new Animal Kingdom one with the characters and in front of the Tree of Life was much more impressive than the old awakening at the Oasis.

• After Animal Kingdom it was a quick snack and time to meet the Towncar and head to the airport and home. The 11 days really did fly by and seem like a blur to us. Hopefully we were able to share some great pictures and experiences with you, the guests of our site. Its always sad to leave vacation and head back to the real world... but then again there is always next time...
