Hong Kong Disneyland - Grizzly Gulch

There is no Frontierland or Westernland section in Hong Kong Disneyland. Grizzly Gulch was added in 2012 and fills this void. It is an old mining town featuring some photo ops, a high speed attraction, a water play area, a fast food location, and a couple other kiosks. Weaving in/out and around the area is the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars. Which is a combination of Big Thunder meets Expedition Everest... it is a tube coaster featuring linear induction launch points as well as a backwards segment. Interesting note there is no FastPass.. but there is usually a single rider queue.

Geek's Thoughts

I enjoyed walking through Grizzly Gulch and spending some time in the area. I enjoy the western music and the sites of the mountain and coaster are great. I was disappointed I only caught a minute of the Welcome Wagon Show. It was unlisted and cast members were not overly helpful in figuring out show times. The times listed on the Hong Kong website proved incorrect the one day I tried to follow those.
