On this trip we stayed 8 nights at Port Orleans Riverside. The highlight of this trip was the 30th Anniversary of EPCOT including a D23 event and park events on October 1st.

Day 1 - EPCOT & Art of Animation Resort
September 29, 2012

Arrived bright and early thanks to the red eye. First stop after checking in, EPCOT. Then over to Art of Animation and back to EPCOT for the afternoon/evening. Dinner was at Shulas tonight.

Day 2 - D23's EPCOT 30th & Downtown Disney
September 30, 2012

The day was spent at D23's EPCOT 30th Anniversary Celebration which took place in the World Showplace at EPCOT. I did make a quick trip to Downtown Disney after dark.

Day 3 - EPCOT 30th Anniversary
October 1, 2012

Today marked the 30th Anniversary of EPCOT (and 41 years for the Magic Kingdom). I spend the entire day at EPCOT taking in the special presentations and events. Including an Imagineering Panel, Anniversary Ceremony, Marty Sklar Presentation, and Illuminations finale to mark the occasion.

Day 4 - Osprey Ridge, Animal Kingdom & Magic Kingdom
October 2, 2012

Started the morning off before the rose with a trip out to Osprey Ridge for a round of golf. Then spent the afternoon at the Animal Kingdom and wrapped up the rainy evening at Magic Kingdom checking out the recently opened Big Top Souvenirs.

Day 5 - Studios, Maigc Kingdom & EPCOT
October 3, 2012

Started off the day roaming the Hollywood Studios and hung around for lunch at the Sci-Fi then off to the Magic Kingdom for the afternoon. After the sun set found myself at EPCOT to wrap up the night.

Day 6 - Animal Kingdom & Magic Kingdom
October 4, 2012

Today we started off at the Animal Kingdom at park opening. Then made our way to the Magic Kingdom for the afternoon. Dinner was at Fort Wilderness, Trails End, then back to the room to watch the USC/Utah football game this evening.

Day 7 - LBV Golf, EPCOT & Animal Kingdom
October 5, 2012

The morning was spent playing golf at Lake Buena Vista, then over to EPCOT for lunch at the Coral Reef. Spent the rainy afternoon at the Animal Kingdom then closed out the evening at EPCOT.

Day 8 - Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom & EPCOT
October 6, 2012

Spent the morning at the Animal Kingdom then over to the Magic Kingdom after lunch. Back to EPCOT in the late afternoon since we had dinner reservations at Yachtsman Steakhouse this evening. After dinner headed to the Magic Kingdom then did the trifecta of Main Street Electrical Parade, Wishes, and a quick trip to EPCOT for Illuminations to close out my last night.

Day 9 - Magic Kingdom & EPOT
October 7, 2012

Our last morning. As usual was spent packing up and dropping bags off so we got a late start. First park of the day was the Magic Kingdom. Then headed over to EPCOT for one last stroll through the Food and Wine Festival before making our way back to the Riverside and the Magical Express to the airport to head for home.
