  • Page Number: 1
A look at the Star Wars project from the 4th floor of the Mickey and Friends parking structure.
A look at the first peaks to rise up. More scaffolding is removed and vegetation is now on the formations.
  • Page Number: 2
Some spires are still just support structures.
Scaffolding still up on this building but it looks to be closing in on being finished.
    Another formation taking shape.
  • Page Number: 3
A crane is lifting wire mesh into place to form one of the background spires.
    A closer look
The wire mesh support structure looks to be installed on the steel now. The next major step will be a first layer of concrete
  • Page Number: 4
The hole in the side of the building is being filled in. My original theory that this would be a service entrance was wrong. I assumed a door was going in, but it appears they are sealing it up.
More scaffolding removed from these formations. Wonder if some sort of cover will go on the back side? Seems to protect from weather/water something would be useful.
  • Page Number: 5
Here you can more clearly see some of the vegetation that has been added.
Supplies for concrete work have been brought in. Also note the boards covering the surface. Was concrete poured last week? Or are they on top of the rock bed?
  • Page Number: 6
    A closer look.
An onside mixer for the concrete.
Guessing this area will be closed in next after they finish the side opening.
  • Page Number: 7
Not sure if these are coming or going. Supports for something.
A closer look at the rock formation that is awaiting concrete.
  • Page Number: 8
  • Page Number: 9
Moving to the other side of the garage and a look at the new Parking Structure construction. On the far side nearest Magic Way the second floor has been poured and supports going up for the 3rd floor.
    A closer look.
Here you can see the supports for the 3rd floor being installed.
  • Page Number: 10
    Panning to the right
The decking for the 3rd floor is being installed on the temporary supports on this side.
  • Page Number: 11
More support columns rising in the background.
The decking for the 2nd floor of the structure has extended across more sections now.
  • Page Number: 12
A wider view of the area from near the escalators.
Rebar staged and ready to be installed to form the second floor.
  • Page Number: 13
The ramp has been extended and now goes up to the 4th floor it seems.
    A closer look.
a different angle as I move along the floor.
  • Page Number: 14
Concrete being poured.. appears to be foundation work but a little hard to tell from this distance/angle.
The connection point at the center/bottom of the frame is actually for the 3rd floor, a little hard to tell.
Here is the current end of the road. Concrete has been poured on the ramp.
  • Page Number: 15
Here you can see where the connection to the 3rd floor will be. For now just a ladder leading down to the second is there.
  • Page Number: 16
On the lower right is the connection to the second floor.
A closer look. Also notice the forms on the sides are removed.
The ramp heading down. You can see the second ramp rising above. It seems to be halted until the first ramp makes more progress.
  • Page Number: 17
Looking across the site they are pouring and preparing to pour more of the ground level.
A closer look at a recently poured section and next to it the preparations for the next two sections are underway with one being leveled and the middle one the rebar in place.
More support columns rising on the far side of the site.
  • Page Number: 18
  • Page Number: 19
It appears that the ramp layout will be different for this structure. The one that is being poured already has a connection to levels 2 and 3 and looks to still be going up. Wonder if these will be an entrance and exit ramp with each one reaching every floor..
The second ramp status. Looks like one section is prepared to be poured.
This appears to be the next section of the ground level to receive concrete.
  • Page Number: 20
The support structure for the 2nd floor is taking shape as rebar and other materials are being installed in the wood decking/framing.
Here you can see the ramp extending upwards from the 3rd floor.
  • Page Number: 21
Here is a quick video clip showing the garage status.

Painting continues in Frontierland. More detail is emerging.
The visible scaffolding is removed and now the spires of Galaxy's Edge loom over Frontierland.
The Columbia was having an issue. After guests were taken off it was moved back to the harbor to be examined, it was out for Fantasmic so the issue was resolved by nightfall. Most likely something in one of the props.
  • Page Number: 26

  • Page Number: 31
Peter Pan and Captain Hook were also out.
The pizza boxes in Toontown stuck out to me. I am not sure if they are new or if I just never noticed them. I thought they had the regular Disney boxes.

  • Page Number: 43
The FastPass return for Soarin was backed up and using switchbacks.
Guests wanted to get wet, but waiting over an hour in the sun/heat does not seem like an ideal tradeoff.

  • Page Number: 44

Judy and Nick from Zootopia on the move.

The bay water is still brown.
  • Page Number: 47
Decided to use a FastPass for Toy Story. Noticed the top of the column looked scraped up or at least other types of paint on it. This was well out of guest reach so had to be from the repainting/renovation work. Several columns looked this way.

I never really thought about it but a good portion of the reserved seating for the fireworks does not really have a good view, or any view, of the projections.
The center section does though, but that is only a portion of the seats.
  • Page Number: 76
Stopped by the Golden Horseshoe again.. the lines were a little longer, maybe 1-2 parties per register vs none. Always nice to sit and listen to the music. Friends in Low Places was one of the songs that came on while I was sitting there. No where near period correct, but still entertaining.
