The 15th anniversary celebration that began April 15 is now reaching its climax and the Park is preparing bring it to a close in style with the grand finale celebration that will begin on January 13.

During this time, the Mediterranean Harbor show "Crystal Wishes Journey" will be presented in the special version, "Crystal Wishes Journey: Shine On!" The Disney Friends celebrate the start of a fresh journey wearing new costumes that let their "Crystals of Wishes" shine even brighter.

As the grand finale of the anniversary celebration begins, the Disney Friends remind Guests of the importance of having a wish and together they celebrate the start of a new and continuing journey to the future. At the climax of the show, bubbles float off into the sky to the backdrop of dramatic pyrotechnics for a spectacular send-off. During the grand finale period, a nighttime performance will be added to the regular schedule. Guests will be able to enjoy the special sparkle of crystals unique to an evening show. DECORATIONS
The "The Year of Wishes ― Grand Finale" is the theme for decorations throughout Tokyo DisneySea during this period. At Mediterranean Harbor, the celebratory ambience is enhanced with beautiful floral decorations, banners picturing the Disney Friends and soap bubbles that float through the air.

Guests can continue to enjoy the "Wing of Wishes" galleon next to the DisneySea AquaSphere inside the Park's entrance. This photo location shows Mickey Mouse and his Disney Friends setting off on a journey to make their wishes shine ever brighter. The "Crystal Point" locations, which emit light and sound when Guests make a wish and touch them with a "Crystal Compass," will also continue to enchant Guests.

SPECIAL MERCHANDISE

About fifty different types of special merchandise will be offered during the limited period of the Grand Finale. Guests will find a variety of items with designs featuring the Disney Characters in their new costumes from "Crystal Wishes Journey: Shine On!" including a poster that glitters and sparkles. Also available will be plush toys of Mickey and Minnie wearing their new costumes and crystal-shaped bottles containing soap bubble liquid that can be used to enhance the enjoyment of the show. There will also be around 20 types of items available especially designed for the 15th Anniversary celebration, co-branded with the Japanese fashion brand Beams.

Note: Special merchandise will be available from January 6, 2017.

SPECIAL MENUS

The special menus at Cafe Portofino and Sailing Day Buffet have remained popular with Guests since April 15 and will continue to be offered during this period. At Magellan's, Guests can enjoy a new full-course meal inspired by Mickey Mouse that will only be available during the grand finale celebration.

Elsewhere in the Park Guests can discover menu items which come with souvenirs, mini snack cases or popcorn cases featuring the Disney Characters from "Crystal Wishes Journey: Shine On!"

Sweet Duffy

Tokyo DisneySea again presents the "Sweet Duffy" program, inspired this winter by Duffy, ShellieMay, Gelatoni and their made-with-love sweets. Guests can enjoy adorable merchandise, menus and decorations only available during this special period.

BACKGROUND STORY

Duffy wanted to make a sweet present just for Mickey and Minnie. ShellieMay and Gelatoni helped him and they did their very best. The three of them gave the sweets to Mickey and Minnie saying "Mickey, Minnie, we love you! Let's be together always." Mickey and Minnie were so delighted with the gifts, they gave the three a big hug, and everyone was filled with happiness.

DECORATIONS

For this season's "Sweet Duffy" program, Mediterranean Harbor and the areas of New York and Cape Cod in American Waterfront will feature cute decorations inspired by Duffy, his friends and sweets, creating the perfect atmosphere for Guests to immerse themselves in the story. There will be a photo location in front of Aunt Peg's Village Store in Cape Cod recreating the heartwarming scene in the story where Duffy and his friends show their love with handmade sweets for Mickey and Minnie.

SPECIAL MERCHANDISE

The lovely scene in the story where Duffy and friends give a heart-shaped confection to Mickey and Minnie is also the inspiration for about 40 types of special items. In addition to standard favorites such as costumes and plush toy badges, there will also be a variety of goods including heart-shaped coin purses, straps featuring Duffy and friends holding a heart, and blankets which fold away into a heart-shaped cushion. And for Guests who enjoy cooking, additions to the "Sweet Duffy"-inspired kitchen utensils such as cookie cutters, milk pans and kitchen timers are sure to make baking even more fun.

SPECIAL MENUS

Also available during this time will be a special set menu that comes with a lunch case featuring designs of Duffy, ShellieMay and Gelatoni; sweets that come with a heart-shaped souvenir; as well as hot beverages that are perfect for the season. In addition, the restaurants Cape Cod Cook-Off and New York Deli will be decorated for "Sweet Duffy" with designs of hearts and confectionery, creating a sweet and heartwarming atmosphere for all who visit.

DISNEY CHARACTER GREETING

Guests can meet Duffy at Village Greeting Place, and ShellieMay at Waterfront Park. Both Duffy and ShellieMay will be greeting Guests in new costumes for this limited period.

"My Friend Duffy" New Version From February 1, 2017

The "My Friend Duffy" show currently on stage at Cape Cod Cook-Off restaurant will be presented from February 1 in a new version in which Duffy's new friend Gelatoni makes his first appearance. This new version follows the journey of Duffy and Mickey Mouse where they encounter Gelatoni, bring him to Cape Cod and introduce him to Minnie Mouse and ShellieMay.

Tower of Terror: Level 13 "Shadow of Shiriki" January 13 – March 17, 2017

This popular attraction takes Guests through a terrifying, supernatural experience on a plunging elevator. This version of the Tower of Terror can only be experienced during this limited time and adds more special effects for even more thrills. Guests who accept the challenge must be willing to brave the chilling powers of the cursed idol, Shiriki Utundu.
