  • Page Number: 1
A look at the 4th floor elevator shaft that is taking shape. Looks like the interior walls are installed.
The walls in the Tram Plaza have been reconfigured. They are now moved right up to/around the escalators and elevators so work can start on the last sections.
The main center part of the project is now open.
  • Page Number: 2
A wider view of the project. Notice the small area on the left that is left to work on.
    A closer look.
The one area that is left. Looks like a ring on the left for a statue for this side of the plaza to match the Pixar Ball on the other side perhaps.
  • Page Number: 3
A look at the recently opened plaza area.
  • Page Number: 4
The area that is left to work on in front of the elevators. The concrete is the old temporary walkway. Assuming this will be redone to match.
    A closer look.
  • Page Number: 5
The view from the escalators of the current walkway through the two fences.
A ground level view of the new elevator shaft.
Here you can see the framing and back side of the interior walls.
  • Page Number: 6
    The tram drop off area.
Turning around another view of the new elevator shaft.
A closer look starting at the bottom
  • Page Number: 7
    The middle section
    Nearing the top.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge billboards at the drop off, surprised Halloween Time has not taken over.
  • Page Number: 8
Even with all the trees there is not a lot of shade right now. They need to grow some.
A look at one of the trees.
  • Page Number: 9
  • Page Number: 10
The tram plaza from the Pixar Pals Structure
The new bridge has opened today.
  • Page Number: 11
The completed stairs to Magic Way.
Guests on the walkway to Downtown Disney.
  • Page Number: 12
Work on the roof level parking at the Disneyland Hotel, hard to tell what is being done from this distance.
The signs were not in use this afternoon.
  • Page Number: 13
The corner of Magic Way and Disneyland Drive
Making my way to the bridge over Magic Way.
  • Page Number: 14
    Looking toward Disneyland Drive
  • Page Number: 15
Looking the other way toward the parking entrances.
    Looking back.
  • Page Number: 16
    The stairs to Magic Way.
Looks like a permanent sign is coming soon, for now a temporary one on the sidewalk.
  • Page Number: 17
The Downtown Disney parking lot. This lot is currently being used by Disneyland Cast Members, no guest parking.
  • Page Number: 18
The ramp from the bridge down to the walkway.

  • Page Number: 21
  • Page Number: 22
Looking toward Magic Way with the ramp overhead.
Turning around and heading toward Downtown Disney.
  • Page Number: 23
The parking lot. In the distance you can see the Monorail Station and beyond it the Paradise Pier Hotel.
  • Page Number: 24
I was hoping they would build a path and new security screening so you could enter right by the Monorail. No such luck.
The walkway jogs around the security check point. Wonder if the plan is to relocate that. Also kind of awkward if you plan to go to the Disneyland Hotel you have to either go through security or walk back and around. There is no straight path.
  • Page Number: 25
The Disneyland Hotel Fantasy Tower Lobby is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Haunted Mansion. These are the main entrance sliding doors.
And inside this large poster covers the map.

More walls as you head toward Tomorrowland. The south side of the entrance is now behind walls for the removal of the rocks and other pavement work.
  • Page Number: 47
Time for a flight on the Astro Orbitor to check out the entrance work from above. Here is a brief video and then the same shot in slow motion to see the work.
Starting on the left side the walls are up but demo work has not begun yet.
Moving toward the middle there is a walkway between the walls to reach the hub.
  • Page Number: 48
A closer look at the center walkway (notice Captain Hook off to the top right of the frame).
On the right side (north side) the walls are just around the planter area now. The hub walkway is open.
  • Page Number: 49

  • Page Number: 71
Made it around and back toward the stairs.
    Looking up.
Upstairs there was a separate line for the photo Opportunity, which I skipped and instead picked up my magnet and left.
