    This room now connects to the opera house lobby. The first room of the lobby is now opens and features the Disneyland Story.
    Looking back at the door I just walked through (I am going to skip to the entrance to the lobby and work my way through in order for the photos)
    When you first enter the lobby you are greeted by a bench.

    Not any bench... but the bench from Griffith park where Walt first dreamed of Disneyland. So its the beginning of the Disneyland Story.

    When you turn the corner to enter lobby you see several displays showcasing the history of the park (as well as some models). In the far left you can see the doorway to the gallery.

    The walkway around the fort is now open to guests (it was blocked off since the Island makeover. Not sure when this reopened since I have not been out here in months)

    This portion of the island was dead. I ran into two groups my entire time out there. One by the restroom and then one near the graveyard.
    The Mark Twain was sitting at the dock my entire time in the area, not sure what was going on.

    This area is slowly taking shape (I read the opening was pushed back a few weeks)
    Concrete has been poured and the bolts are ready for whatever is going to be attached to be installed.

    I was really surprised permanent lights were not built into the facade during the year long rehab. Seems that would save some money possible.
    The confetti launchers have been removed from the parade route (guess Magical is not coming back any time soon). No signs of the snow machines yet but I bet those show up soon.
