12/20/18 10.4 22,008 9 I arrived at the Disneyland Resort just after lunch. My visit started off with mixed luck. The Ball Road overpass was closed but I managed to make it through the first light so it was not a long wait. Then the garage was open but traffic was backed up outside the garage and took over 10 minutes to reach the tollbooth. Traffic on the right to the lower levels was at a stand still but cast members were directed those of us in the left lanes up toward the top levels. The right lane was stopped going into the 5th floor but the left lane was wide open going to the roof so I went that way. Parking was a free for all up there and you had to find your own spot. I found one in the first row about 1/3 the way up (so had to walk 2/3). After parking took a look at the parking structure work and then Star Wars before heading down toward the trams. There were a lot of guests in the queue so I opted to walk through Downtown Disney. Security by the former ESPN had only one tent open and it was backed up most of the way to the crosswalk so I opted to keep walking and enter from the hotel side which had a handful of guests only. Strolled through Downtown Disney checking out the latest work as I made my way to the parks. Decided to head for Disney California Adventure first and made my way up Buena Vista Street and the performance corridor to the Pier area. Stopped for a performance by the Holiday Toy Drummers then walked by Lamplight and Screamin on my way to the Pixar Pal-A-Round for a spin. After my ride finished the loop of the Pier. Walked back down the parade route and into Hollywood Land. Saw Ralph was out near Stage 17 and a new photo wall on Stage 12 for Mary Poppins Returns. Took a look at the Marvel Project from near Guardians of the Galaxy and then returned to Buena Vista Street and headed for Disneyland. Made my way to the hub, stopping for a fortune along the way in the Penny Arcade and found a spot to see the beginning of A Christmas Fantasy Parade near Sleeping Beauty Castle . Made a quick trip into Fantasyland to see the Peter Pan area then Adventureland to see a first glimpse of the Tropical Hideaway then caught the end of the parade. After the parade walked up the parade route and into Toon Town to take a look around since I had a few minutes before my FastPass return time. Used a FastPass for it's a small world holiday and then made my way over to Disney California Adventure to grab a bite to eat at Smokejumpers. After eating walked quickly out to Paradise Gardens and found a last minute spot for Viva Navidad Street Party. After the performance returned to Disneyland and made it across Town Square just before the second parade was going to start. Took the east by pass to the end of the Main Street then crossed and went toward Adventureland. Spent some time at the Tropical Hideaway looking at some of the details. Made my way to New Orleans Square to visit Fortune Red and then returned to Main Street USA just as the parade was ending and took the west by pass to Town Square. Listened to a performance by the Dickens Yuletide Band near the Opera House. After their set walked through Tomorrowland taking a look at Goofy's Holiday Dance party on my way to the small world mall area for the 7:30 wintertime enchantment. While waiting spotted several princesses roaming the area taking pictures with guests. Ariel, Cinderella and Snow White were around. After the snow moment returned to Town Square and a second performance by the Yuletide Band. Returned to Disney California Adventure and Paradise Park to see the 8:15pm Phat Cat Swinger concert. Then returned to Disneyland and Main Street USA to find a spot for Believe in Holiday Magic. Once the snow finished falling turned for the exit along with most of the crowd and headed for the tram, garage, my car, and home.

12/14/18 11.7 24,729 9 Arrived at the Disneyland Resort just after lunch. I found the Ball Road overpass closed but lucked out and made it through the first light. No delays at parking, only one car ahead of me and then was quickly directed into a spot on the Goofy level. Started off taking a look at the parking structure construction then Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge before heading for security and a tram to the parks. First stop today Disney California Adventure. Strolled up Buena Vista Street, around Carthay Circle and then along the performance corridor through Festival of Holidays to Pixar Pier. The plan was to go for a spin on the Pixar Pal-A-Round since the app showed a 15 minute wait, but by the time I got there it was closed due to an issue. They looked close to reopening so I listened to a set by the Pixarmonic Orchestra and then hung around for about 5 minutes and they reopened. Took some pictures from a non-swinging gondola then once back on the ground moved over to Paradise Gardens and found a spot for Viva Navidad! Street Party. After the performance finished my loop of the Pier and walked back through the performance corridor and over to Hollywood Land. Circled the backlot and then walked by Guardians then headed back to Buena Vista Street and over to Disneyland. Roamed around Main Street USA and made my way toward Frontierland. The Mark Twain was in port and boarding so walked on and went for a cruise around the Rivers of America. Once back ashore took the Big Thunder Trail to Fantasyland and went for another cruise, this time on small world holiday. Walked through Toon Town stopping at Donald's and Chip & Dale's for some pictures before returning to Fantasyland. Walked around the Matterhorn and into Tomorrowland then through the hub and into Adventureland. Stopped by the Penny Arcade on Main Street to pick up a card from Esmeralda then headed back to DCA to grab dinner at Smokejumpers Grill. After dinner walked by Cars Land to see if the lights were on, they were, so continued on to Pixar Pier. Missed a very red sunset by a couple minutes, caught the tail end of it. Watched a performance by the Sound who were at Paradise Gardens Park for the Festival of Holidays. Then turned and walked through Grizzly Recreation Area, pausing for snowfall, on my way to the Grand Californian. Took some pictures in the lobby and watched a performance by the Holiday Handbell Carolers. After their set I ventured across Disneyland Drive to check out the Christmas decorations at the Paradise Pier Hotel then Disneyland Hotel before heading to Downtown Disney. Spent some time looking around at the recent changes and enjoying some of the entertainment. Returned to Disneyland around 7pm. Had a few minutes to spare so stopped by the Tomorrowland Terrace to check out Goofy's Holiday Dance Party and then returned to Sleeping Beauty Castle for the 7:30pm Wintertime Enchantment moment. After the snow moment walked through Frontierland and into New Orleans Square. Visited Fortune Red and picked up the first card there then passed back through Adventureland to Main Street. Did a second walk by the dance party before returning to Disney California Adventure. Made my way out to Paradise Gardens Park for a performance by Phat Cat Swinger. After their set walked through Cars Land to see what was going on then headed back to Disneyland. Stopped by the Disney Gallery and then found a spot for Believe in Holiday Magic. After the fireworks joined the crowd heading for the trams. Returned to the parking structure, found my car and headed for home.

No delays at the tollbooths, on the level or at security but the trams were backed up two to three trams deep and no sign of any trams, so I decided to walk. No wait at Downtown Disney security either. Took a look around Downtown Disney at the Christmas decorations and various projects as I made my way to the parks. First stop today Disney California Adventure. Roamed around Buena Vista Street and as I did booked a FastPass for Toy Story. Walked up the parade route, by Paradise Gardens and around to the Pixar Pal-A-Round. Went for a spin and with no line had my own gondola. Once back on the ground stopped by Bing Bong's and he is now in his store. Then used my Toy Story FastPass. While in line booked one for the Racers for later in the morning. The ring toss game did not work for our trams. I told a cast member as we exited and they gave us all multi-experience passes good on most attractions in DCA. Stopped by the Disney Gallery and took a look at the new Mary Poppins Returns exhibit and then made my way to Adventureland for a look around and then the Castle to catch a performance by the Disneyland Band. Stopped by Toontown to check out the Star Wars work and while there grabbed a FastPass and went for a spin on Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin. Then returned to the Castle for the 11:40am Disneyland Band set. After their performance ordered some lunch at Smokejumpers and walked over to pick it up and eat. After lunch had a choice of using a Racers FastPass or Viva Navidad and I opted for the street party. After the show caught a set by the Pixarmonic Orchestra and then a performance by the Holiday Toy Drummers before returning to Disneyland to check out the Candlelight crowds. It was about 3 hours before show time and guests were several deep in many spots. I picked a spot on the City Hall side about 3 people back from chairs and sat for a couple hours. Stood up for the 4:15pm flag retreat then stayed standing for the Tree Light and then the 5:30pm Candlelight. After the ceremony walked down the middle of Main Street USA and decided to head to Tomorrowland to grab a bite to eat at Tomorrowland Terrace (or Galactic Grill.. not sure which name it is going by now a days). After eating watched a few minutes of Goofy's Holiday Dance Party then returned to Main Street USA to watch the procession for the 7:45pm Candlelight. My plan was to head to DCA and watch Phat Cat Swinger but as I passed through Town Square I saw a nice spot to watch the Candlelight so I stopped and watched the 7:45pm show too. After the show made my way up Main Street and found a seat at Center Street to let the crowd go by. Roamed around the hub then went and found a spot near the Cinema to sit for a while and post some pictures before finding a spot to stand for Believe in Holiday Magic. Walked through Tomorrowland and decided to go for a round trip voyage on the Monorail. Then made my way over to Disney California Adventure. Attempted to order dinner on the way but the app would not log me in for some reason. Luckily there was only one group in line so it was not a bad wait at Smokejumpers Grill for dinner. After eating walked up the parade route to Paradise Gardens to check out the AP corner and then through Pixar Pier. Walked through the Wharf and Cars Land then into Bugs Land to take a look around. Continued on to Hollywood Land taking Sunset to Hollywood Blvd. Stopped by the Animation Building then returned to Buena Vista Street. The sun was setting so stopped by Cars Land to see the lights come on then made my way out to Pixar Pier to look around after dark and use a Toy Story FastPass. 8/03/18 8.2 21,702 9 Arrived at the Disneyland Resort just after lunch. No delays at the parking toll booths, but then traffic came to a halt on the ramp to the level. It took nearly 10 minutes from the tollbooth to a spot due to the slow nature that cars were being directed to the last spots on the Goofy level. I was in the last row again, but this time only a dozen spots from the walkway. Took a look at the Star Wars then parking garage work before boarding a tram to the parks. Decided to head for Disneyland first. Wandered up Main Street USA and into Frontierland. The Columbia was in port but not taking guests. Took a look around Frontierland then strolled along the Rivers of America. Decided to visit Tom Sawyer Island, but I missed the raft and then they closed the line since they were taking the Columbia into the harbor to be looked at. So I continued out to Critter Country. 33 284 316.5 Totals
Note: These totals may be skewed because the pedometer is zero'd when we start and then left alone and read when we leave. So attractions, and other things may cause extra "steps" to be counted. The pedometer that we use basically measures up/down motion as a step, so if your standing in line and moving up and down it may be counting steps, etc.. so the total distances traveled and steps may be off.. so use these as rough distance comparisons between trips and they may not be accurate in terms of actual distance traveled.
