12/30/16 8.4 22,421 10 Arrived at Disneyland Resort at 12:30 under clearing skies. Drove directly into the structure, to a toll booth with no waiting, and was directed into a spot in the first aisle of the Donald Level of the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. Walked up to the roof and took some pictures of the Star Wars construction site then headed down to security, which had no line, and waited for the next tram to pull up. First stop today Disneyland. Wandered around Main Street USA and the hub before making my way into Frontierland. Walked to the end of the Big Thunder Trail (hoping it would be open to get a better look at the Star Wars work, but no such luck because the park was not crowded). The clouds had rolled back in and it looked like it was going to rain again. I walked back to the hub and through the Castle to Fantasyland. Made my way out to near small world just as the 1:30 Christmas Fantasy Parade was stepping off. So I found a spot and watched the parade then hopped on its a small world holiday with no wait. After my cruise walked back through Fantasyland and around the Castle. Took a look at the waits in Adventureland and decided I should head to Town Square to find a spot for the USC Pep Rally. After the rally followed the band up the parade route. They continued on to the small world gate and I turned by the Tea Cups. Decided to grab an early dinner at the Village Haus. When I came out everything was wet and it was misting a bit. I walked by the castle and into Frontierland. Strolled along the Rivers of America and out to Critter Country to check out the construction from there. Then back through New Orleans Square. Caught a band from Mexico walking the pre-parade. Then took a peek to see if the trail was going to open during the 4:15 parade, it was not so decided to start toward DCA. It had started to drizzle. Stopped by the Emporium to get out of the rain a bit then they made the announcement the parade was about to begin. Town Square had no crowd at all so I found a spot under a tree to watch an abreviated Christmas Fantasy Parade. Then made my way over to DCA. Roamed Buena Vista Street and Carthay Circle before passing through the Airfield. Picked up a World of Color FastPass (Yellow for the second show) then continued on to Paradise Pier. Viva Navidad Street Party was cancelled, as expected with the weather. So I doubled back and walked through Cars Land and then Hollywoodland. Found a dry spot to sit and work on some posts by the Backlot Stage. Took a second pass by Paradise Gardens to see if the 6:15 show was going to run, it had stopped raining, but the ground was too wet still so it was cancelled. Made my way back to Disneyland and as I entered Town Square they were making the announcement that Paint the Night would start in a few minutes. So I hung around and found a spot for the parade. After the parade made my way up Main Street and into Adventureland. Walked onto the Jingle Cruise, just had to wait for the boat to pull up to board. After my cruise returned to the hub to see if there was going to be a Wintertime Enchantment moment, there was not at 7:30pm. Made my way out to small world Holiday to catch the 7:45pm projection show then roamed around Toontown before heading to Fantasyland. Walked around the Castle and then into Frontierland. Made my way out to Haunted Mansion which was a literal walk on, I did not break stride till the foyer. Then decided to pay a visit to Pirates, had to wait one boat. After Pirates returned to Main Street and it was nearing 9pm so thought I would find a spot for Believe in Holiday Magic. Ended up on Main Street just shy of the hub. The show started about 9:25. After Believe walked through the crowd and then over to Disney California Adventure. Opted for Standby vs the using my Yellow FastPass for World of Color Season of Light. After the show walked in the rain back to the trams, found my car and set out for home in a steady rain.

Decided to go to the Village Haus for dinner. After dinner walked back through the Castle, through the hub and Frontierland on my way to the Rivers of America to catch a set by the Jambalaya Jazz. After their set back to Main Street and a final trip across the Esplanade to DCA. Strolled out to Paradise Park and watched the concert that featured RAISE, the Mariachi Divas, and Mostly Kosher. After the performance went for a voyage under the sea to warm up a bit then walked through Cars Land and over to Hollywood Land. Stopped by the Animation Building to get out of the wind and enjoy the clips in the lobby. About 8:30 made my way to Paradise Park to find a spot for World of Color - Season of Light. After the show joined the masses leaving the park, hopped on a tram back to the structure, found my car and headed for home.

Spent some time taking pictures for the Star Wars Construction then Tram Stop area before boarding a waiting tram to the parks. No line at security nor at the park. I was strolling along Buena Vista Street just after 8am. First stop World of Color FastPass distribution, which had a several minute line, then over to Radiator Springs Racers FastPass distribution which had no wait. Headed for Disneyland after picking up my FastPass. Stolled up Main Street USA to the hub and verred into Adventureland. First stop the Jingle Cruise. Wait was only a couple minutes. Then made my way to Fantasyland and waited about 5 minutes for Mr. Toad and about the same for Alice in Wonderland. Stopped by Small World Holiday for a cruise, it was a walk on. Then paid a visit to Toon Town. Car Toon Spin had a posted 10 min wait which turned out to be only 5. Walked back down the parade route and into Frontierland. Took a look at the Star Wars construction from the Big Thunder Trail then walked around the Rivers of America to Critter Country to do the same. Passed through New Orleans Square and Aventureland on my way back to the hub and then back to DCA. Walked through the Festival of Holidays and out to Radiator Springs Racers to use my FastPass. After the show returned to the Wharf to listen to a performance by RAISE. Decided to head to White Water Snacks at the Grand California for lunch then walked through the lobby and Downtown Disney on my way back to Disneyland. The plan was to watch A Christmas Fantasy Parade but there was already a decent crowd gathered for Candlelight so instead I found a place to wait for 2.5 hours. After the 5:30 Candlelight Ceremony I waded through the crowd on Main Street and made my way through Adventureland and out to the Rivers of America to listen to Jambalaya Jazz. After their performance walked through walked through Frontierland and by Sleeping Beauty Castle on my way to Tomorrowland. Circled the area then returned to Main Street to watch some of the Candlelight Procession from the end of the street. Returned to the Rivers of America for a second performance then back to Main Street to head to DCA. Inched through the Candlelight Crowd and eventually made it out of the park. No line to enter DCA. Strolled up Buena Vista Street and out to Cars Land to use my FastPass. It appeared they were just coming back online after being down. The FastPass return line was huge, CMs were estimating 35 minutes. That was longer than I had so I skipped the ride and instead watched Luigis for a while then walked over to Grizzly Recreation Area to see the Christmas decorations after dark. Wandered around Main Street USA and made my way through Adventureland and out to New Orleans Square. Picked up a Haunted Mansion FastPass (since I missed my earlier window) and then out to the Hungry Bear for food. Got a text some friends were in the park so met up with them after eating and we all grabbed a set of FastPasses for the Mansion then they wanted to eat so it was back to the Hungry Bear to visit. After they finished eating we returned to the Mansion for our ride. Then walked through New Orleans Square and into Adventureland. Once they finally entered we headed for DCA since Disneyland was closed. They had not eaten so the plan was Smoke Jumpers. The line stretched out into the walkway so we abandon that and made our way through the masses and out to Paradise Gardens. The line there was out the door and around the corner but it looked to be moving and they were hungry so we waited. Turned out to be much shorter than expected and we were seated at a table and they were eating in under 15 minutes. After they finished we wandered around Paradise Pier a bit and then I headed to World of Color to use a FastPass someone picked up for me earlier in the day. They continued on to Bugs Land and Turtle Talk. 7/16/16 9.8 25,873 12 Arrived at an overcast and busy Mickey and Friends Parking Structure around 7:30am. Lucked out with a parking spot close to the escalators on Mickey. Took a few moments to get pictures of the Star Wars construction then boarded a tram. First stop today for us was the Grand Californian to check into an event. Then some of my group headed to the park and I had to back track to the car to drop off a bag. I ended up with my own tram back to the structure. The return lines were long at least two tram wait at two load statioins, so I opted to walk back. Met my group as they exited Soarin. We walked around Grizzly River Run and out to Paradise Pier. 6/24/16 7.6 20,205 9 Arrived at the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure just after lunch and was directed into a space on the 4th level. Spent some time watching the Star Wars construction then boarded a waiting tram. Made my way to Disney California Adventure and wandered up Buena Vista Street, around Carthay Circle and into Grizzly Peak Airfield. Grabbed a FastPass for Soarin then continued up the trail and around Grizzly River Run and out to Paradise Pier. Strolled through the Wharf and entered Cars Land on Cross Street. It seemed quiet so decided to participate in Race Day on Radiator Springs Racers. Thanks to fortunate timing it was about 15 minutes from when I entered the single rider queue until I was back on Route 66. Luigis had a a posted 10 minute wait so I decided to go for a spin. The sign was off, it was nearly 20 minutes from entering the queue to being back on Cross Street. Walked through Fliks and into Hollywood Land and arrived at the Backlot Stage a couple minutes before the 3:00pm All-American College Band set was to begin. After their set walked around Hollywood Land and then made my way back to Buena Vista Street and over to Disneyland. Wandered around Main Street USA and into Frontierland. Stopped by the end of the Big Thunder Trail to see the construction then walked around the Rivers of America to Critter Country to do the same. After the ceremony returned to DCA with the plan of using my FastPass for Soarin. Once again a theater was down and FastPass return was backed up to Smoke Jumpers. Cast Members were allowing you to come back any time later in the day if you wanted so I took that option and returned to Disneyland. Decided to hang out in Carthay Circle and watched most of the Pixar Play Parade before returning to Disneyland for the college band set in front of the Castle and on Main Street. After their set walked up Main Street and through the Castle to Fantasyland. Took a couple some pictures as I made my way out to Toontown. Circled the area and then took the parade route back to Town Square to watch the college band perform there. After their set it was off to Tomorrowland then the Small World Mall for the pre-parade by the college band. I cut through Tomorrowland to get ahead of them and watched their Main Street stops. After they had finished I returned to DCA right before park closing and used my Soarin FastPass. It took only 15 minutes from when I entered the queue until I was exiting the building thanks to a cast member looking for single riders which enabled me to bypass the final ramp more or less which meant I was on a show earlier saving almost 10 minutes of waiting. After my flight the park was closed and instead of joining the crowds at Disneyland I walked through Downtown Disney catching a little of the Polynesian Nights performance on the way. Continued walking back to the Mickey and Friends garage and watched the fireworks from there before heading for home.

I opted to wait it out hoping they would bring the second theater online quickly. I was wrong. It took me approx 2.5 hours from when I entered the queue until I exited the attraction. Spent some time taking a look at the Star Wars Construction from there then headed for the parks via the tram. No line at security or to enter DCA either. I took some pictures and then found the standby line for the second show. I ened up in the first 50-60 guests in line somehow. While in line crossed paths with several friends and as luck would have it one had an extra FastPass for the show so I moved from the Standby line and joined the FastPass return group. Then back through Hollywood Land and caught the end of the 7:30pm Mad T Party Band set. Took Hollywood Blvd to Buena Vista Street and returned to Disneyland. It was about half an hour until Paint the Night. Walked up Main Street and around the hub checking the wait times and crowd before deciding to find a spot in Town Square for Paint the Night and then on Main Street for Disneyland Forever to wrap up my visit. After the show joined the mass exiting the park and made my way to the trams, found my car and headed for home.

3/04/16 9.1 24,044 8 Started off this cloudy afternoon being directed to a spot on the 5th Floor, Donald, of the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure. Took a look at the Star Wars Land preparations as I headed for the tram. First stop today Disney California Adventure. Strolled up Buena Vista Street spotting a couple eggs for the egg hunt and made my way to Cars Land for the Annual Pass Preview of Luigis Rollickin Roadsters. The posted wait was just over an hour so I bit the bullet and got in line. It took about 75 minutes to board my car. After my spin on the dance floor I walked through bugs land and into Hollywood Land. Did a quick pass through the area and returned to Buena Vista Street and made my way over to Disneyland. I was on a quest to get some construction pictures and complete the egg hunts before the sunset, which was under 3 hours. Strolled up Main Street USA stopping for some egg pictures and then veered into Adventureland. Worked my way through the crowd to the Rivers of America and walked out to Critter Country. Found the egg and took some pictures from the Hungry Bear and then doubled back through New Orleans Square stopping at the train station. Continued on through New Orleans and Frontierland to the end of the Big Thunder Trail. Took a couple of pictures of the construction then walked through Frontierland, Fantasy Faire and into Fantasyland. Found a couple more eggs along the way and worked my way out to Toontown to check out the renovation work. Doubled back through the Small World Mall and then around the Matterhorn to Tomorrowland. Passed through the Launch Bay and Super Hero HQ to get a picture of the Autopia. Walked down the ramp and through Tomorrowland to return to Main Street just as Soundsational was making its way through. Inched my way through the crowd to the park exit. Walked through Downtown Disney grabbing pictures of the eggs hidden around the area. Walked all the way out to ESPN and then doubled back stopping at the Grand Californian on the way. Was met with a long wait at security to get back into the parks. Returned to Disney California Adventure as the Pixar Play Parade was passing through Carthay Circle. Walked through Grizzly Peak Airfield and around the recreation area to find some more eggs then out to Paradise Pier. Walked around to Toy Story Midway Mania then back. The parade was just ending so cut through the Wharf area and has the great idea to pick up some bread. Waited in the slow moving line only to find they were not selling fresh loaves, guessing because the bakery was closed. They were just selling bread bowls and they would not sell one without the soup. So having struck out there decided to finish my egg hunt in Cars Land then Bugs Land. I missed my goal of completing before sunset so for the last couple I needed to use a flash and finding them in the dark was more difficult. Walked back to Buena Vista Street then returned to Disneyland. Made my way up Main Street and around Sleeping Beauty Castle to Fantasyland. Decided to grab dinner in the Village Haus and then walked around Fantasyland and the through Snow White Grotto to return to Main Street. Made my way back to DCA to meet up with a friend and see Luigis at night. Stopped by Flos to visit with some friends and then Ramones to see the new merchandise. Looked at the two hour wait for Luigis and instead decided to just take some pictures and video. It was down as I approached so watched them take a car offline and then bring the attraction back online. Watched a few cycles then decided to make my way back up Route 66 and down the parade route to Buena Vista Street. It was about 8:30 and instead of fighting the Disneyland crowd opted to take the tram back to the parking structure and watch Disneyland Forever from there before heading for home.

1/08/16 7.8 20,744 8.5 Started off this cool afternoon parking in the Mickey and Friends Garage and taking a tram to the parks. Made my way to Disneyland. Roamed around Main Street USA making my way to the hub then through Frontierland and out to the Fantasmic FastPass area. None left for the first show so doubled back to the Rivers of America for a cruise on the Columbia. Once back on shore walked through New Orleans Square to the Haunted Mansion to pick up a FastPass. It was down so none were available. I reversed course and boarded the Mark Twain for a river level cruise. Oncec on shore I again returned to the Haunted Mansion and it was still closed so I got in line for the Disneyland Railroad. A train was just pulling out. I had to wait for the second train to arrive and just barely made it on that one. Went for the grand circle tour of the park. Once back in New Orleans Square picked up a FastPass for Haunted Mansion finally. Made my way to the Big Thunder Ranch for the nightly running of the goats. After the goats had retreated for the evening I continued on to Fantasyland and grabbed some dinner at the Village Haus. Decided to head over to Disney California Adventure for a quick walk through. First stop Hollywood Land to see if any Aladdin FastPasses were left. There were none and a massive standby line. So I continued on through Cars Land and then to Paradise Pier and through Grizzly Peak. Returned to Disneyland with the game plan to use my Haunted Mansion FastPass. Once I arrived at the Mansion decided instead to pick up a new FastPass and go for a final night cruise on the Mark Twain. After the cruise headed out to Haunted Mansion for a final ride through of the season. Continuing my farewell tour next up was the Jingle Cruise which had a half hour wait. After my trip through the jungle returned to Main Street and headed back to DCA. Walked down the parade route and out to the Pier to get a couple pictures of the Cove Bar. Then walked through the Wharf and Cars Land to reach Hollywood Land. The Mad T Party Band was performing so stopped to listen to the end of their set before returning to Disneyland. Made my way through the crowd and out to Frontierland. Continued through the Fantasmic crowd and found a spot in Stand by on the far side for Fantasmic. After the show inched my way to Main Street arriving as Disneyland Forever was going on. Roamed around the perimeter of the crowd watching the projections and trying to see if there were any interesting angles and as soon as the finale went off headed for the tram, car, and home.

33 258.8 295 Totals
Note: These totals may be skewed because the pedometer is zero'd when we start and then left alone and read when we leave. So attractions, and other things may cause extra "steps" to be counted. The pedometer that we use basically measures up/down motion as a step, so if your standing in line and moving up and down it may be counting steps, etc.. so the total distances traveled and steps may be off.. so use these as rough distance comparisons between trips and they may not be accurate in terms of actual distance traveled.
