12/18/15 8.9 23,591 9.5 Arrived at the Disneyland Resort just after lunch and was directed into one of the last spots in the second row. Easy to get in and out but a good hike to the escalators. Boarded a waiting tram and headed for the parks. Passed through security and turned toward Disneyland first. Arrived on Main Street just before the 1pm Christmas Fantasy Parade. Started up the west/left side of the street and noticed the last Emporium window has been unveiled. So stopped for some very bad daytime pictures then continued up the street. Passed the line board and then into Tomorrowland. Grabbed a FastPass for Star Tours and then crossed back to the hub (after the first section of the parade). Strolled through Sleeping Beauty Castle and Fantasyland on my way to Small World Holiday. Walked right on, paused to wait for the first row of the next boat but other than that it was a literal walkon. Enjoyed my cruise until we stopped just before the finale room for almost 15 minutes. So my cruise took over 30 minutes. They did mute the music after a few minutes though. After disembarking walked down the parade route to Main Street. Saw the Dapper Dans at Coke Corner so stopped to enjoy their set. Then caught the Yuletide Band followed by Hook and Ladder Co before making my way over to Disney California Adventure. Took Buena Vista Street to Carthay Circle then walked down Hollywood Blvd. Passed the Aladdin FastPass area and took Sunset past Tower of Terror and through Bugs Land to Cars Land. Walked down Cross Street and turned onto Route 66. Looked back at Bugs Land and then headed for Paradise Pier. Walked by the Cover Bar work and then around to the Fun Wheel, the line was long so continued on to Paradise Gardens to check out Viva Navidad. Finished my loop of the Pier and then walked through the Grizzly Recreation area and back to Buena Vista Street. Caught the last two words of a Bell Ringers set then returned to Disneyland as the 3:15 parad was going on. Traffic was really backed up to cross the parade so I opted to go around Town Square and through the stores on the West side of the street. Walked through Adventureland and Frontierland before taking the Big Thunder Trail to Fantasyland. Grabbed an early dinner at the Village Haus then continued on through Fantasyland, around the Matterhorn and into Tomorrowland. Stopped by the Star Wars Launch Bay and Super Hero HQ then back to the Tomorrowland Terrace for the Jedi Training Academy. Used my Star Tours FastPass and then roamed around Tomorrowland and out to Small World Holiday to see the lights. Noticed the time and had 10 minutes until the last Mark Twain cruise of the day so took the parade route to the hub and then strolled into Frontierland and boarded the Mark Twain for the final trip of the day. Once back to port made my way to Main Street USA just as the Paint the Night intro was playing so I found a spot to watch. After the parade let the crowd thin and took some pictures and video of the new Aladdin Emporium window before returning to Disney California Adventure. Walked through the airfield and out to GRR. Took some pictures of the Christmas decorations and then walked out to Paradise Pier. Passed through the Wharf, stopping for some chocolate at Ghirardelli and then entered Cars Land. Wandered around a while then took Cross Street to Fliks and passed through to Hollywood Land. The Mad T Party Band was performing so stopped to listen to their set. Then made my way out to Downtown Disney. Walked all the way out to the ice rink and then doubled back to catch a performance by the Christmas Carolers. It was about 9:00pm and I missed my World of Color FastPass so returned to Disneyland and found a spot on Main Street for Disneyland Forever. After the show headed for the tram, garage, car and home.

After the show walked back through Downtown Disney and ran into a large line at the security tents. Eventually made it through the and returned to Disneyland. Main Street was filling up for Paint the Night and I walked through those crowds and around the hub to find a spot in front of the Castle. It was about quarter to 8 so I had an hour till the parade and longer for fireworks to wait. I pulled up a space on the still warm pavement and waited. Stood to watch the parade go by then was told to sit for the show. After Disneyland Forever hung around there to let the crowd open up a bit then worked my way through the masses to the park exit. 8/08/15 10.1 26,886 14 Started off the overcast morning arriving at the Mickey and Friends parking structure just after 7:15am. Was directed out to the Pinocchio Lot and into a spot fairly quickly and boarded a waiting tram. Once at the park some of the group headed for Starbucks since we had time and I wandered toward the Disneyland entrance. Met up with the group and we all headed to DCA. Picked up FastPasses for the Radiator Springs Racers and then the others went to the Peir for Toy Story and I circled back through Buena Vista Street to the Esplanade to meet some friends. Walked into DCA with them and they headed for Soarin and I went back to the entrance to meet a third group of friends and say good morning before rejoining the others at the exit to Soarin. Walked around Grizzly Peak, through the Wharf and into Cars Land. Wandered around a bit then they went for breakfast at Flos and I went to use my FastPass for the Racers with others. Roamed Cars Land for a bit and found some of the grop on the Junkyard Jamboree so visited with them a bit and walked out to the Pier for some to ride Screamin. Then back through the park and over to Disneyland for the 11:30am Disneyland Band set. Strolled up Main Street USA and through Sleeping Beauty Castle to Fantasyland. Grabbed lunch at the Village Haus and then circled the area then back to the Castle Forecourt to catch the 12:30 Disneyland Band set. Followed the band to Town Square and then wandered into Tomorrowland and out to Toontown. Walked down the Parade Route and over to Frontierland to catch the 1:45pm Disneyland Band set then around the Rivers of America and out to Critter Country. Waited by the Haunted Mansion for some to exit then walked with them through Adventureland and back to DCA to catch the 3:00pm All-American College Band set on the Backlot Stage. After the performance made our to Buena Vista Street and caught a performance of the Red Car News Boys then continued on to Cars Land and then onto the Wharf where we pulled up a table in the shade for a while. Walked out to Paradise Pier and grabbed some dinner. Some at Paradise Gardens, me at Corn Dog Castle. After dinner watched the Pixar Play Parade as I made my way back toward GRR and then over to Disneyland. Strolled up Main Street USA and found a spot for the 6:15pm College Band set at the Castle and followed them back to Main Street. Made my way out to a reception at the Big Thunder Ranch and visited with some friends there for an hour or so before headed back to DCA for World of Color. Wrapped up my evening with World of Color Celebrate and watched Disneyland Forever as I waited for the tram and road back to Mickey and Friends. Found my car and joined the traffic to head for home.

Hopped onto a waiting tram to the parks starting off at Disneyland. Wandered around Main Street USA working toward the hub, stopping to listen to the Straw Hatters along the way and then through Sleeping Beauty Castle to Fantasyland. Walked out to the Big Thunder Ranch then along the Big Thunder Trail to the Rivers of America. Continued around to New Orleans Square and crossed paths with the Boot Strappers so stopped to listen for a while then doubled back through Adventureland to Main Street USA. The Disneyland Band was making its way to Frontierland so followed along and watched their set. Strolled back to Main Street USA and through the shops on the West side of the street as I headed for Disney California Adventure. Walked through Elias & Co and then took the parade your out to Paradise Pier, taking a quick look into Bugs Land along the way. Once at the Pier continued on past the Zephyr and around to the swings and Fun Wheel areas. Past Toy Story and Screamin and finished the loop. Passed through the Wharf on my way to Cars Land. Took Cross Street to Route 66 and roamed around a little while before continuing on Cross Street to Fliks and then to Sunset Blvd. Stopped by the Backlot Stage for the 3pm All-American College Band set. Once they had finished took a look around the Backlot and noticed no line for Olaf so stopped to see him for a picture then stopped by the Animation Building for some A/C and to see if there was anything going on as I headed for Off the Page. Took Hollywood Blvd back to Buena Vista Street. Returned to Disneyland. Caught the last song from the Dapper Dans and the continued on to Fantasyland. The Pearly Band was performing so stopped to listen to them then continued on through Fantasyland and out to Toontown. Circled the area and the doubled back through Fantasyland. Decided to grab a bite in the Village Haus and then continued on around the Big Thunder Trail to New Orleans Square. Walked through the shops and then out to grab a Haunted Mansion FastPass. Made my way back to Main Street and crossed over to Tomorrowland. Circled the area then followed the All-American College Band to Town Square for the nightly Flag Retreat. After the ceremony walked through some stores on the East side of Main Street and then returned to New Orleans Square to use my FastPass. Repositioned down on the street to watch their castle set performed there. After their performance wandered around Main Street and Tomorrowland. Caught the opening song at Tomorrowland Terrace before returning to Town Square for the 7:15pm All-American College Band. After their show I walked up Main Street and through Fantasyland. Ended up back in Toontown again. Watched the sun set and then stopped by the Small World Mall to listen to the 8:15pm All-American College Band pre-parade in the area. Followed the band up the parade route and I cut through the hub and decided to watch Disneyland Forever from in the hub on the West side. The view of the Castle was skewed but I could see the fireworks perfectly so stooed there for a little under an hour waiting for the show. Watched Paint the Night from a distance and then the fireworks. After the show inched my way through mob and toward the exit using the west Main Street by-pass. It seemed to take a long time but in reality was only about 10 minutes from my spot to outside the park. The trams were really backed up so opted to hike back to the structure. Found my car and headed for home.

7/17/15 9.8 25,960 15 Arrived at the Disneyland Drive exit just after 6:30am and was greeted by NO traffic and the flyover entrance open. Pulled right up to a tollbooth and was directed up to the roof to park. Parked a dozen or so cars from the escalators. Walked down and boarded a waiting tram, strolled through security and right into the park stepping onto Main Street just after 7:00am. Strolled down the street that was lined with Cast Members and into the park which was already open, well ahead of the posted 8am opening. Walked around the hub and then into a nearly empty Frontierland. Strolled along the Rivers of America. The rest of my group walked onto Pirates. I continued on out toward the Haunted Mansion. Took some pictures of the new photo Op and then wandered back toward Frontierland and took the Big Thunder trail around to Fantasyland. Guests were lined up for the free cupcakes at the Big Thunder Ranch already. I continued on through Fantasyland and toward Toontown. Saw the cupcake distribution area out by the Train Station, much shorter line. Toontown was not open yet nor the cupcakes so I walked back around the Matterhorn to Tomorrowland. There was a 1955 photo op near Innoventions. And a line for the cupcakes at the Magic Eye Theatre. I doubled back toward Toontown and walked right up to get a cupcake out there. Then continued on into Toontown to see the 1955 photo up in Toon Park, it featured the Skyway. Walked by Cartoon Spin then made my way back to the hub to find a spot for the Ceremony. Ended up across from the Frontierland Entrance quite a ways back. After the ceremony found the rest of my group and we strolled through Frontierland and then out to the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree, a stage coach photo up was set up along the trail. Made my way back to Main Street and over to DCA. They had a 1955 photo up with the parking lot near the Grizzly Peak Waterfalls. Spend some time in Bugs Land looking for the photo op, it was not out. They had cupcakes near the Tower of Terror. Near the Hyperion was another 1955 photo op, this one with the original marquee that was out front. Then made my way back to Disneyland and found a spot in Town Square for the 11:30 Disneyland Band set to see the new band. After their performance decided it was lunch time. Ate at the Plaza Inn. After lunch passed through Frontierland and walked along the Rivers of America and out to Critter Country. There was a 1955 photo op of the Mine Train set up across from Splash Mountain. Made a quick stop at the Hungry Bear then back to Frontierland to watch the 1:45pm Disneyland Band set which started near the flag pole then continued to the Golden Horseshoe. After their set made a return trip to the Big Thunder Ranch area then sat along the Rivers of America in the shade relaxing for a while. Caught the 3:05pm Disneyland Band set infront of the Golden Horseshoe then walked through the hub and up the parade route to the Small World Mall. Found a spot in the shade and hung out there for a while then moved up to the sun for the 60th Anniversary pre-parade honoring opening day Cast Members of Disneyland. After the procession passed by walked through Tomorrowland and then the shops on the West side of Main Street as Soundsational rolled by. Returned to DCA and walked out to the Pier via the Parade Route. Continued around passing by the Zephyr and Paradise Gardens. Cupcakes were being passed out by the former Maliboomer location and they really wanted us to take one so we did. Finished the loop of the Pier and then passed through the Wharf to Cars Land. There was no single rider wait for the Racers so went for a spin then took Cross Street to Bugs Land. Made sure I did not miss the Photo Op (which there was no sight of). The Pixar Play parade was just entering Carthay Circle. I waited to cross the parade then stopped by the Cafe and walked through the shops on Buena Vista Street. Once back on Main Street went in search of a spot for Paint the Night. Found one near the Crystal Arcade. After the parade joined the mob on Main Street for Disneyland Forever. Then shuffled my way to the exit and out to the tram stop. Only had to wait one tram so road back to the structure. Found my car and headed for home.

36 282.7 341 Totals
Note: These totals may be skewed because the pedometer is zero'd when we start and then left alone and read when we leave. So attractions, and other things may cause extra "steps" to be counted. The pedometer that we use basically measures up/down motion as a step, so if your standing in line and moving up and down it may be counting steps, etc.. so the total distances traveled and steps may be off.. so use these as rough distance comparisons between trips and they may not be accurate in terms of actual distance traveled.
