12/19/14 9.8 25,876 9 Arrived at the Disneyland Resort just after lunch and was directed to a parking spot in the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure with no delays. Once parked walked down and boarded a waiting tram to the parks. Started my day at Disney California Adventure. Strolled down Buena Vista Street, around Carthay Circle, through Condor Flats and out to the FastPass distribution for World of Color. Picked up my ticket and walked through the Bay Area, down the Parade Route and through Bugs Land to Hollywood Land. Took a look at the state of the Frozen Fun additions in the Backlot area then in the Animation Building before returning to Buena Vista Street and making my way over to Disneyland. Made my way up Main Street USA to Sleeping Beauty Castle. Continued on to Fantasyland to try and visit Storybook Land. It was closed due to the parade in an hour. So took a look to see if Casey Jr was in operation, it was not. So headed to Tomorrowland with the goal of riding the Monorail. Well that was down too. Zero for three. Circled back through Fantasyland and took the Big Thunder Trail to the Jingle Jangle Jamboree. Circled the area then continued on down the trail to the FastPass distribution area for Fantasmic. Picked up a FastPass and then strolled along the Rivers of America and out to New Orleans Square. Walked down Royal Street and out to the Haunted Mansion FastPass distribution area. Picked up a ticket for laster then made my way to Adventureland to check on the Jingle Cruise line. It was too long so Stopped by the Oasis then the hub. Noticed the Monorail was in operation so walked through Tomorrowland and boarded a train for a round trip. Once back walked around the Matterhorn and into Fantasyland, crossing the Christmas Fantasy Parade. Casey Jr was running so waited about 10 minutes to go for a ride to see Storybook Land. Once back the Canal Boats were just opening after the parade so hopped in line. About a 15 minute wait for my cruise. Once back ashore walked through Fantasyland, took the Big Thunder Trail, and around the Rivers of America to reach the Haunted Mansion to use my FastPass. Picked up another FastPass afterwards. Walked back through Adventureland and out to the hub. Decided to grab a bite to eat so returned to Fantasyland. After eating made my way out to Small World to catch the lighting moment. Then doubled back through Fantasyland, through Fantasy Faire and Frontierland and out to the Haunted Mansion for my second ride of the day. Walked back through Adventureland to Main Street and used the west side corridor to by pass the crowd on Main Street. Once in Town Square watched a couple floats from A Christmas Fantasy Parade then headed back to Disney California Adventure. Walked out to Paradise Pier and spent a few moments at Viva Navidad! before finding a spot for the Street Party. After the party walked back around GRR and through Condor Flats to reach Buena Vista Street then returned to Disneyland. Headed for Tomorrowland to catch a performance by Elvis, Scot Bruce at the Tomorrowland Terrace then back to Main Street for the 7:30pm Wintertime Enchantment moment. Returned to DCA and walked down Hollywood Blvd. Stopped by Off the Page and then continued on down Hollywood Blvd and then onto Sunset. Walked through Bugs to reach Cars Land. Took Cross Street to the Wharf and then out to Paradise Pier for World of Color. Decided to skip my Yellow FastPass and found a better stand by spot. After the show walked very quickly down the parade route, Buena Vista Street and over to Disneyland. I found a spot on Main Street just as Believe in Holiday Magic was starting. Enjoyed the fireworks and snow then headed for the tram stop. The waits were several trams so I opted to join the mass of guests walking back to the parking structure. Made my way back to the garage, found my car, and headed for home.

12/06/14 7.3 19,352 12 Arrived at the Disneyland Resort before park opening and was directed onto the second floor of the Mickey and Friends Garage. Boarded a tram to the parks and then waited in the Esplanade for the rest of my group to arrive. We entered DCA close to 8:30 and some went to get FastPasses for World of Color and Radiator Springs Racers and the rest of us wandered around Buena Vista Street. We noticed no line for Santa so took our first time visitor (who is about a year and half old now) to meet him. Once everyone returned we made our way over to Disneyland and headed for the Jingle Cruise, about a 15 min wait, then out to Small World, about a 20 minute wait (along the way some stopped by Alice in Wonderland which had a 10 min or so wait). We crossed through Fantasyland and spent some time in the Jingle Jangle Jamboree. Some of the group returned to Adventureland to use Indiana Jones FastPasses they picked up before the Jingle Cruise and the rest of use went on the Mark Twain. Once back in Frontierland decided to grab a bite to eat. Some from the Stage Door others from Rancho. We ended up eating inside the Golden Horseshoe and caught a performance of the Laughing Stock Co. We then walked along the Rivers of America and boarded the Disneyland Railroad to return to the Small World Mall area. Found a spot to watch a Christmas Fantasy Parade. After the parade walked around Matterhorn, through Tomorrowland, and down Main Street on our way to return to Disney Californian Adventure. upon entering the park paused to listen to the last song of a set by the Buena Vista Street Community Bell Ringers then made our way to Cars Land to use our FastPasses. After riding we went for a spin on the Flying Tires (only a 10 min wait). Then strolled out to the Pier to catch Viva Navidad Street Party. After the party walked back and waited about 5 minutes for the Little Mermaid. Then we strolled around GRR and through Condor Flats. The group made their way toward Disneyland and I quickly ran down Hollywood Blvd to get a couple pictures of the Frozen work then joined them in the large line to get into Disneyland. We inched along into the park and found a spot in front of Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln for the Candlelight. Enjoyed the ceremony then made my way up Main Street through all the guests waiting for the second Candlelight and to the hub. Walked by the Castle and continued out to the Small World mall to see the lights. Watched the Small World projection show then caught a Wintertime Enchantment moment. At this point some of the group headed for home and the rest of us to the Village Haus for dinner. After dinner roamed around Fantasyland and the Fantasy Faire before reaching Main Street USA. Took the west side backstage corridor to Town Square and then made my way over to DCA to find some of our group that had gone that way vs the Candlelight. Picked up some Buena Vista Street Bugles and then found the rest of the group and the decision was made to call it an evening at that point. So walked back to catch a tram and head for the car and home.

Which is good in terms of not having to drive around a lot, easy in/easy out, but it means an almost quarter mile hike to the escalators. I opted to take the stairs and walked through the Pinocchio lot and over to the Disneyland Hotel. Plan A was to take the Monorail but it was really backed up so opted to take a stroll through Downtown Disney and into Disneyland. Wandered down Main Street USA, around the hub and into Tomorrowland. Once back in Tomorrowland walked around the Matterhorn and out to the Toontown. Circled around and then went through Fantasyland and took the Big Thunder Trail to Frontierland. Stopped by Adventureland to see the last day festivities of the Adventure Trading Company then continued on through New Orleans Square and out to the closed Huanted Mansion. Not much going on so continued on through the Wharf and into Cars Land by Fillmores. Took about 15minutes to board a car in the single rider line. After my trip on the Racers continued on through Bugs and out to the Hollywood Land to catch the All-American College Band on the Backlot Stage. After their set headed over to Disneyland. 7/25/14 7.3 19,345 9 Started off this warm summer afternoon on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure. Strolled through Condor Flats, around Grizzly River Run and out to the Pier. Took a look at Paradise Bay then wandered through the Wharf and Cars Land. The Radiator Springs Racers were just coming back online after an extended down time. Unfortuantely they were not going to open the single rider line for at least another 15-20 minutes according to the cast member and standby was at a stand still due to a backup of FastPass returns. So I kept on walking. Passed through Fliks and onto Sunset Blvd. Stopped by the Backlot stage in hopes of catching the All-American College Band, but they did not show up. Waited around about 10 minutes for them then gave up and continued on up Hollywood Blvd. to Buena Vista Street and across the Esplanade to Disneyland. Arrived on a noisy Main Street USA and made my way to the hub. Walked through Adventureland taking some pictures of the area before next weeks premiere of the new game there. Then visited Tarzans Tree House before strolling through New Orleans Square. Turned around at the Huanted Mansion and followed the Rivers of America to Frontierland. After eating noticed no one in line for Casey Jr so went for a ride. Once back in Fantasyland walked through the Fantasy Faire on my way to the Golden Horseshoe to catch a show. After the show took the Big Thunder Trial to the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree for the Music of Nashville. Then returned to Main Street for the 6:00pm pre-parade by the All-American College Band. Followed them up the parade route and then stuck around to see the Frozen preparade (which now runs before both Soundsational Parades). Headed to Tomorrowland with the goal of a round trip Monorail ride, but only one train was running and it was a 20 minute wait which was longer than my open window of time so roamed around Tomorrowland and Main Street USA until the 7:15pm College Band set. After their performance return to DCA. Walked down the parade route to Cars Land and happened to be there as the neon lights came on for the evening (around 8:00pm). Checked the single rider line for the Racers and it was too long, so instead made my way to Hollywood Land and watched the Mad T Party set. After their performance walked out to the Pier and paid a visit to the Little Mermaid since there was no line. Passed through the Grand Californian and out to Downtown Disney. 3/28/14 6.6 17,510 9.5 Started off this comfortable afternoon at the Disneyland Resort stuck in a line to enter the Mickey and Friends Structure. I choose unwisely and the line every car seemed to have a problem, question, reason to talk to the cast members and it took several minutes to slowly move up to the toll booth while the other lines were flowing normally. Was directed to an ok spot right in terms of reaching the escalators, later this would hurt since I was far from the exit which meant a lot of traffic to sit in. I boarded a waiting tram and headed for the parks. The line to get into each was long. I made my way to Disneyland first. Strolled down Main Street USA, circled the hub, and continued up the Parade Route passed Alice in Wonderland and then turned into Fantasyland and headed for the Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree. Stopped by the Disneyana store and Disney Gallery for a while then made my way out to the Rivers of America for Fantasmic! A M5.1 earthquake hit right as the Columbia was making her pass. The show was stopped and cancelled. I decided to inch along with the crowd and head for the exits. This was the popular mindset and it took about an hour to get from where I was on the Rivers of America near the Tom Sawyer Island raft exit to my car in the Mickey and Friends structure. I walked since the trams were backed up. The structure took another half hour to exit due to everyone leaving at the same time.

Circled around Bugs Land and Hollywood Land on my way back to Buena Vista Street. Headed for Disneyland and strolled down Main Street USA. Circled the hub and walked through Adventureland and out to New Orleans Square to see if Haunted Mansion was open. It was but the line was 35 minutes so I walked back around the Rivers of America and out to the Big Thunder Ranch. Saw nothing exciting going on there so continued on through Fantasyland and around the Matterhorn to Tomorrowland. Went for a round trip on the Monorail to get a quick look at the sub lagoon progress. Once back on the ground strolled out to the Small World Mall and Toontown to see what was going on there. Walked back through Fantasyland and decided to grab something to eat at the Village Haus. After eating made a quick stop at the Jamboree then continued on along the Rivers of America and out to the Haunted Mansion. The wait was still 35 min so hopped on the trian and took it to Toontown to check on Small World. The line there was too long for my patience too. Ended up wandering through Fantasyland and then through Frontierland and along the Rivers of America. Haunted Mansion now had a 15 min wait so decided to pay a visit. It was almost 6:30 and time for Soundsational so made my way to Main Street to find a spot to see the parade. After the parade made my way to DCA and the Mad T Party to see what was going on. Then walked down Sunset Blvd and made my way into Cars Land by way of Fliks. Spend some time roaming around and enjoying the pleasant evening before returning to Disneyland. Found a spot on Main Street to watch Remember Dreams Come True at 8:40 then returned to DCA for World of Color at 9:45pm. After the show joined the masses heading for the trams. Eventually made it to the garage and headed for home.

Walked around there a bit then took a peek into Adventureland to see the Jingle Cruise line (too long for me) so wandered through Frontierland and made my way out to the Jingle Jangle Jamboree. Made the loop through Toontown then walked back around the Matterhorn to Tomorrowland then back to Main Street. Decided to head for DCA and see the lights come on in Cars Land. Found out they came on at 4:55 and I entered DCA about 4:50.. usually not a problem but the Pixar Play Parade was going on and blocking my way. Worked my way through the crowd and across the street then up the parade route to Cars Land arriving with less than a minute to spare before Winter Wonderland came on the speakers. After the song headed back to Buena Vista Street and then Disneyland. Decided to watch the Christmas Fantasy Parade from the Trian Station then returned to DCA. 38 295.7 348.5 Totals
Note: These totals may be skewed because the pedometer is zero'd when we start and then left alone and read when we leave. So attractions, and other things may cause extra "steps" to be counted. The pedometer that we use basically measures up/down motion as a step, so if your standing in line and moving up and down it may be counting steps, etc.. so the total distances traveled and steps may be off.. so use these as rough distance comparisons between trips and they may not be accurate in terms of actual distance traveled.
