Hong Kong Disneyland Resort presents first-ever Disney Friends Springtime Carnival Fun-filled encounters with 100-plus Disney characters make spring more vibrant than ever The Disney Friends are all here, and they’re dressed to impress! Mickey and friends are also showing up in Hong Kong-themed outfits, while the Disney Friends of the Month will be greeting guests for special photo moments on Main Street, U.S.A. Come to The Annex to meet some familiar Disney Friends as well as characters who are making their debut appearances in Hong Kong Disneyland. The stars of March and April will be Belle and Beast from “Beauty and the Beast,” Pinocchio and Geppetto from “Pinocchio” and Russel, Carl and Dug from “Up.” Don’t miss this chance to meet them all! The popular Disney Character Egg Hunt returns this year in a larger scale after its successful debut last year. Close to 100 eggs that portray Disney characters are scattered across the park for happy hunting. Look for new comers such as Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, Ant-Man, Spider-Man, Rocket Raccoon and Groot, along with Judy and Nick from “Zootopia” and Hei hei and Pua from “Moana.” Guests are bound to discover Disney character eggs wherever they go in the park! The specially created Disney Friends Springtime Garden provides picturesque settings for guests to take in the spectacular colors of spring and snap photos of Mickey, Minnie and Donald in all of the garden’s whimsical corners. Springtime snacks and sweets of beloved characters Celebrate the Disney Friends Springtime Carnival with a range of 55 character-inspired snacks, desserts and specialty drinks in the park and resort hotels. Indulge in the Spring Dinner Set at Royal Banquet Hall, the Duffy & Friends Springtime Afternoon Tea at Main Street Corner Cafe hosted by Coca-Cola®, or mouth-watering range of spring desserts at Market House Bakery. Head over to Walt’s Cafe at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel for the Disney Royal Afternoon Tea–presented by PANDORA, or sample award-winning dishes on the Springtime Dinner Menu (Feature Crystal Lotus Award Dishes) of Crystal Lotus. For a special parent-child bonding opportunity, join the “Chef Mickey Family Sunday” dinner buffet and cupcake activity at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel for a complimentary, hands-on DIY cupcake-making session. A collection of “Beauty and the Beast” items will fill store shelves as the much-anticipated movie is coming to local theaters. Other than toys and ornaments, the collection will include a range of princess dresses for young guests to transform into dazzling Belle. “Beauty and the Beast” PANDORA charms will also be available exclusively in the park!
