Tokyo DisneySea Park ■ Sweet Duffy SPECIAL MERCHANDISE DECORATIONS ■ New Entertainment Program "Come Join Your Friends" January 12 – April 10, 2016 Venue: Mediterranean Harbor Duration: About 20 minutes Performances: 2-3 Daily Number of Performers: About 20 Participating Disney Characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Duffy, ShellieMay, Gelatoni, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Max, Chip, Dale, Clarice This is a new greeting show where Mickey Mouse and his friends celebrate seeing each other again, and also enjoy meeting Guests. It begins when the Disney friends, who are in the midst of their separate travels, decide to gather together in answer to a call from Mickey Mouse. They arrive at an old Southern European port town, where they are welcomed by its residents. Soon, everyone is dancing to celebrate this reunion. Guests too will be caught up in the excitement as they participate in the dancing by striking a pose in time with the music, and shouting out Italian greetings such as "ciao!" (meaning 'hi') and "grazie!" (meaning 'thank you').After the Disney friends enjoy seeing each other and meeting the Guests, they return to their ships and set sail again on their next journey. Gelatoni*, the new friend of Mickey Mouse and Duffy, will be making his first live appearance in this greeting show. *Gelatoni is a boy cat with emerald-colored eyes and a long tail who loves to paint. He began appearing as plush toys and other merchandise from July 2014. ■ Tower of Terror: Level 13 "Shadow of Shiriki" January 6 – March 18, 2016 Tower of Terror, the scariest attraction ever at Tokyo DisneySea, will be offered in a special version for a limited period only. This popular attraction takes Guests through the terrifying, supernatural experience of a plunging elevator. More drops and special effects for even more thrills await Guests who have the courage to step inside this Tower of Terror during this period. |
