Tokyo DisneySea Park

■ Sweet Duffy
(January 12 – March 18, 2016)

Tokyo DisneySea, which is currently hosting the "Journeys with Duffy: Your Friend Forever" program to commemorate the 10th year since Duffy's debut, will also simultaneously offer the "Sweet Duffy" program themed to Duffy, ShellieMay and cute confectioneries. Guests will be able to enjoy adorable merchandise, menus and decorations that are only available during this special period.

BACKGROUND STORY
ShellieMay baked many sweets to welcome Duffy home from his journey, including those based on recipes for hazelnut cakes and brownies that Duffy enjoyed during his travels. ShellieMay made a particularly special cupcake, and gave it to Duffy together with a letter expressing her feelings of gratitude for him. Duffy, who also wanted to return his feeling of thanks, enlisted the help of his friend Gelatoni and created a bouquet of flowers to give to ShellieMay.

SPECIAL MERCHANDISE
About 40 types of special merchandise items will be available, including those themed to the welcome given to Duffy on his return from his journey, such as decorative garlands, platters, and serving plates that are perfect for occasions of hospitality. There will also be household goods, confectioneries, costumes and plush toy badges, as well as kitchenware items that are regularly available during the "Sweet Duffy" program period. Guests will also find six different types of items that are perfect for giving as gifts, themed to a present made by Duffy and Gelatoni to express their feeling of thanks.

SPECIAL MENUS
The restaurant Cape Cod Cook-Off in American Waterfront will offer a special set menu that comes with a lunch case, and sweets like those created by ShellieMay and friends for Duffy that come with a souvenir item. At Gondolier Snacks, located in Mediterranean Harbor where Gelatoni lives, a hot chocolate drink inspired by Italian beverages will be served again this year. Guests can also enjoy hazelnut cakes and brownies that Duffy enjoyed during his travels, topped with decorations of Duffy. In addition, the restaurants Cape Cod Cook-Off and New York Deli will be decorated for "Sweet Duffy" with designs of hearts and confectioneries, creating a sweet and heartwarming atmosphere for all who visit.

DECORATIONS
The areas of Cape Cod and New York in the themed port of American Waterfront will feature cute decorations associated with Duffy and his pals, creating the perfect atmosphere for Guests to immerse themselves in the story behind this year's "Sweet Duffy" program. Mediterranean Harbor will also be decorated with flowers and ribbons, as well as banners to express the friendship between Duffy and Gelatoni.

■ New Entertainment Program "Come Join Your Friends"

This is a new greeting show where Mickey Mouse and his friends celebrate seeing each other again, and also enjoy meeting Guests. It begins when the Disney friends, who are in the midst of their separate travels, decide to gather together in answer to a call from Mickey Mouse. They arrive at an old Southern European port town, where they are welcomed by its residents. Soon, everyone is dancing to celebrate this reunion. Guests too will be caught up in the excitement as they participate in the dancing by striking a pose in time with the music, and shouting out Italian greetings such as "ciao!" (meaning 'hi') and "grazie!" (meaning 'thank you').After the Disney friends enjoy seeing each other and meeting the Guests, they return to their ships and set sail again on their next journey. Gelatoni*, the new friend of Mickey Mouse and Duffy, will be making his first live appearance in this greeting show.
*Gelatoni is a boy cat with emerald-colored eyes and a long tail who loves to paint. He began appearing as plush toys and other merchandise from July 2014.


■ Tower of Terror: Level 13 "Shadow of Shiriki"
January 6 – March 18, 2016

Tower of Terror, the scariest attraction ever at Tokyo DisneySea, will be offered in a special version for a limited period only. This popular attraction takes Guests through the terrifying, supernatural experience of a plunging elevator. More drops and special effects for even more thrills await Guests who have the courage to step inside this Tower of Terror during this period.
