Tokyo Disneyland Special Event “Disney’s Easter”

Entertainment Program

Hippity-Hoppity Springtime
Location: Parade Route
Duration: About 40 minutes
Performances: 2-3 Daily
Number of Performers: About 85
Number of Floats: 7

“Hippity-Hoppity Springtime” is back again this year to celebrate the fun of “Disney’s Easter.” This happy, whimsical parade set in the secret Easter garden features the Disney friends and lots of Easter bunnies. Guests can enjoy the new costumes worn by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, as well as a new version of the music for the parade. The parade stops in three locations for a lively and whimsical Easter party. Guests are invited to join in the fun with Mickey Mouse, his Disney pals and the Easter bunnies.

The parade’s opening float represents the entrance to the Easter garden. On the far side of this “secret” entrance are Easter bunnies, who are all dressed up to welcome everyone. The next float is a workshop where Chip ’n Dale and the Easter bunnies are having fun decorating eggs with colorful paints. Chip ’n Dale, who are very excited, are covered in paint themselves as they paint the eggs.

On the gym float that follows, Goofy, his son Max and the Easter bunnies are getting into condition for the egg race with some fanciful training techniques. Goofy and Max are using training machines designed with vegetables. Next, colorfully painted Easter eggs can be seen on the garden-like float where Mickey Mouse, Pluto and the Easter bunnies are happily hunting for the eggs.

Pooh’s friend Rabbit is teaching a class about how to enjoy “Disney’s Easter” on the schoolhouse float. Next, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck are cooking up tasty treats for the Easter bunnies on the kitchen float. The final float shows a dance party with the charming Minnie Mouse, Clarice and Marie.

  • This parade will stop at three locations – between Westernland and Fantasyland, around the Plaza and between Toontown and Tomorrowland.

Themed Entertainment

The members of the Tokyo Disneyland Band and the Bicycle Piano entertainer will be dressed in Easter costumes for “Disney’s Easter.”

  • Venue differs depending on the performance time.

Note: Entertainment programs are subject to change or cancellation due to weather conditions, etc.

Guest Activity Program

Egg Hunt in Tokyo Disneyland
Again this year, Guests can challenge themselves in the “Egg Hunt in Tokyo Disneyland” program during “Disney’s Easter.” The Easter bunnies have hidden unique “Easter eggs” around the Park for this Guest activity program that is available in two different courses. In the Standard Course (510 yen, offered in Japanese only), Guests use the hints written on a special map to find the correct Easter egg with the design of a Disney character from among the eggs hidden in the Park. The Expert Course (1,030 yen, offered in Japanese only) is for Guests looking for more of a challenge. In this course, Guests also use the hints written on a special map, but the correct Easter eggs are painted in a way to blend in with the Park’s facilities and decorations, making them harder to find. Over 40 different types of Easter eggs with Disney character designs will be hidden around the Park, including the newly designed Easter egg depicting Olaf from Disney’s Frozen.

Guests who succeed in finding the correct eggs can go to the goal to receive an original Tokyo Disneyland item. For the Standard Course, successful Guests will receive an Egg Neck Strap. Guests completing the Expert Course will receive an Original Bag Charm.

  • Guests can sign up for this program at any of six locations: the event booth in the Plaza, Plaza Restaurant, Space Place FoodPort, Cleo’s, Captain Hook's Galley or Royal Street Veranda.
  • The goal is located outside the Park’s Main Entrance at a facility set up to distribute the Egg Hunt prizes.

Decorations

In various places around the Park, Guests will find decorations featuring Mickey Mouse and the Disney friends, along with the Easter bunnies, celebrating “Disney’s Easter.” The Mickey-shaped flower bed inside the Park entrance will be transformed into a new photo location, where colorful flowers shaped like Easter eggs create a whimsical but magical atmosphere. The photo location shows Mickey Mouse, Goofy and the Disney pals happily hunting for Easter eggs. After dark, the buds on these “egg flowers” sparkle and light up the area for Guests to enjoy.

The Plaza in front of Cinderella Castle will be transformed into an Easter garden with a tree house where the Easter bunnies gather. Under the tree house, the Easter bunnies are painting eggs and getting ready for the egg hunt. Pluto, with bunny ears on his head, is helping the Easter bunnies hide the eggs. On the other side of the tree house, Donald Duck is busy trying to harvest vegetables for the Easter event. Together with the Easter bunnies, Donald Duck is trying hard to pull out a large carrot from the ground to deliver to Crystal Palace Restaurant where the Easter party will be held.

Special Merchandise

Approximately 40 different types of merchandise with a “Happy Egg Hunt!” theme will go on sale. There will be items depicting Mickey Mouse and his Disney friends hunting for eggs in the Easter garden, along with plush toy badges with a motif of Easter bunnies from the parade, mobile telephone cleaners, and many other items offered exclusively at Tokyo Disneyland.

Guests will have fun “hunting for eggs” as they shop for memo pads and masking tapes designed with 33 types of Easter eggs, as well as egg-shaped ballpoint pens, egg “cartons” filled with assorted chocolates, and original accessories.
