Soarin' Over Disneyland Resort

Space Shuttle Endeavour, perched atop a NASA-modified 747, made a “ferry flight” over Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, on Sept. 21, 2012. Endeavour flew over a number of U.S. landmarks, including the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, on its way to its final destination, the California Science Center in Los Angeles. Conducted in cooperation with the Federal Aviation Administration, Endeavour’s cross-country journey for NASA was the final ferry flight of the Space Shuttle Program. (Photo courtesy of NASA)
