Mattel announces its CARS Super Chase Collection, a new line coming in 2012 CARS and die-cast fans, start your engines…Mattel just announced its CARS Super Chase Collection, a new line coming in 2012 that will feature one-time only, limited die-cast vehicles for fans and collectors of all ages. I have included an image below of John Lasseter, two-time Academy Award winning Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios Chief Creative Officer and devoted CARS collector, who received the very first vehicle from the Super Chase collection at Disney’s D23 Expo this past weekend in Anaheim, Ca. Flash, the Swedish racer, will be the very first Super Chase vehicle available in spring 2012. There will also be three additional “Super Chase” vehicles throughout 2012 -- all, never before released in die cast. Each of these 1:55 scale die-cast vehicles will feature a unique character and engaging nuances of the franchise, and will be packaged distinctively in its own packaging.
Once these collectibles launch, you’d better put your pedal to the metal to your nearest retailer because these CARS Super Chase die-cast vehicles are being produced in limited quantities, so they will not last long on the shelves. The vehicles will be available in select stores where Mattel’s CARS die-cast vehicles are sold and will retail at $3.99. |
