RACERS - START YOUR ENGINES! Disney Mobile announced today Cars 2, a new arcade racing game for the iPhone and iPod touch, is now available on the App Store for $0.99. Timed with the theatrical release of Disney•Pixar’s Cars 2 movie on June 24, 2011, the Cars 2 app lets players control their favorite characters from the movie, including Lightning McQueen, Mater, Finn McMissile and Holley Shiftwell. Players race through spy-worthy environments inspired by the film, such as the mysterious Oil Rig, streets of Tokyo and bridges of London and can increase their score by collecting oilcans and spare parts through 24 fun levels. But they must watch out -- the course is littered with challenging obstacles to conquer! In addition, Disney Mobile has released a free Cars 2 app that includes a lite version of the Cars 2 game along with trailers, images, mobile web links, and other fun features from the movie and the new Cars 2 console video game, perfect for the ultimate Cars fan!
