June 24, 2009 --- Moviegoers of all ages are in for thrills and adventures galore this summer as Hollywood’s legendary El Capitan Theatre delivers over 3-1/2 hours of spectacular fun with their special engagement of Walt Disney Pictures’/Jerry Bruckheimer Films’ exciting new comedy-fantasy, “G-Force,” it was announced today by Lylle Breier, senior vice president of worldwide special events, Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.  This exclusive engagement will run from July 24th through September 7th, and every ticket purchase will include admission to the “G-Force Experience” following the film, where guests can enjoy a wide range of interactive games of skill, imaginative attractions, live entertainment, and loads of excitement inspired by the film.  Among the offerings are “G-Force Training Course,” “Target Toasters,” “Spy Maps,” “Encryption Corridor,” “Disengage the Gadget,” and “Bug Stomp.”  Daily showtimes for “G-Force” will be at ­10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 7:00 pm, and 9:30 pm.   Tickets are available at the El Capitan Theatre box office (6838 Hollywood Blvd.), on line at www.elcapitantickets.com, or by calling 1-800-DISNEY6.  Special group rates for parties of 20 or more are available by calling 1-818-845-3110.

Guests can also experience the “Force” at Disney’s Soda Fountain and Studio Store (located adjacent to the theatre), where “The G-Force Sundae,” a mouthwatering dessert combining a choice of ice cream topped with a “G-Force” chocolate medallion, will be served throughout the engagement.

Commenting on the announcement, Breier said, “There is no better venue to experience Jerry Bruckheimer’s first film in Disney Digital 3D than here at the El Capitan Theatre.  ‘G-Force’ is a fantastic film for families and moviegoers of all ages, and seeing it flawlessly projected in state-of-the-art digital 3D at the El Capitan will add to the fun and fantasy.  We’ve also had a blast creating ‘The G-Force Experience,’ where our guests can feel like they’re a part of the G-Force team.  This is a unique interactive environment that offers lots of great entertainment, and helps to make seeing films at the El Capitan such a wonderful and rewarding experience.”
Among the highlights of “The G-Force Experience:”

• Activities include deciphering the code to access the G-FORCE Cyber Network Databanks, plotting a spy map for the G-FORCE team, crushing unstoppable digital bugs, annihilating miscreant Gizmos, and taking the G-FORCE Training Course to become a member of the G-FORCE Special Forces!

• See real props direct from the movie, and two actual sets from G-FORCE.

• Go behind-the-scenes with a unique G-FORCE art exhibit.
