Official Disneyland Resort Podcast "Bursts" into Springtime with Fireworks and Dinosaurs

ANAHEIM, Calif. (April 10, 2006) - - Spring is here and The Official Disneyland Resort Podcast has blossomed to reveal an all-new episode that is literally bursting with behind-the-magic info as host Michael Geohegan gives listeners an insiders look at Disneyland’s “Remember . . . Dreams Come True” fireworks spectacular. Listeners will be seemingly listening over the shoulders of Disneyland’s team of skilled pyro-technicians as they prepare for another performance of the most elaborate fireworks presentation in Disneyland history, created specifically for the park’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Then, instead of winding his watch one hour forward for springtime, Geoghegan winds his watch back millions of years in time to the fantastic Primeval World, realm of the dinosaurs. This diorama has been a popular (and curious) fixture along the route of the famed Disneyland Railroad for 40 years, leading Geoghegan to interview Disney historian Stacia Martin to find out exactly how this collection of brontosaurus, T-Rex’s and triceratops found their way to “The Happiest Place on Earth” (Here’s a hint: They are all native New Yorkers).

This popular and free monthly Internet-based show is accessible to a global audience at www.disneyland.com/podcast or via a “Disneyland” search on the iTunes Podcast Directory. Listeners can also subscribe through the iTunes Podcast Directory to receive each show automatically each month. Achieving a rating of four-and-a half stars out of a possible perfect five on the directory, The Official Disneyland Resort Podcast is a hit with listeners.

Each episode of The Official Disneyland Resort Podcast features an engaging mix of original programming recorded live throughout the resort, including locations in Disneyland, Disney’s California Adventure Park, the Downtown Disney district and the resort’s three landmark hotels – Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel – creating a “you are there” experience.
