Geek's Thoughts: The second film in the series released in high definition Blu-ray for the first time. The disc includes a great transfer of the film, the original DVD bonus material, and then

The new bonus features are:
Toy Story 3 Sneak Peek: The Characters
Buzz Lightyear Mission Logs: International Space Station
Paths to Pixar: Technical Artists
Studio Stories: Toy Story 2 Sleep Deprivation Lab, Pinocchio, The Movie Vanishes
Pixar's Zoetrop
Celebrating our Friend Joe Ranft

I was a little disappointed in the bonus material on the disc, except for the Joe Ranft piece which was extremely well done. I was hoping to see a more in depth look at the new film instead it was the normal couple minute clips for most of them. The sneak peak at Toy Story 3 revealed little that was new, maybe a character or two. I really did enjoy the Buzz Mission Log and the balloon in the parade stories but wish they were longer. I found the Paths to Pixar segment to be really interesting too, just like the one on the first Toy Story Blu-ray. I would have liked to have seen real images or video for the Pixar Stories segment too.

I was kind of surprised there was no mention of the theme park attraction on either disc. I would have thought this would be a natural tie in and great feature. Also wonder why there were not digital copies of the film included this time around. It seems all the other recent releases have.

Lastly I was kind of hoping for new trailers or different ones. The ones on the two discs as well as the Princess and the Frog were basically the same, nothing stood out.
