Geek's Thoughts: Wow what a great book. This is more of a techical look at the operation, history, engines, and rolling stock of the Disneyland Railroad. The book has several illustratraions, CAD drawings, and pictures scattered throughout its 320 pages. This is a must for dedicated Disneygeeks and railroad buffs.

 

I found this book to be very interesting. I, like many, disneygeeks have known some of the highlights of the Disneyland Railroads history and its special place in Walt's Legacy. But I was unfamiliar with some of the details and histories of the trains and their operation. This book takes a look at each of the four engines and the upcoming 5th addition to the line. It discusses the old tickets, custume changes, and even the stations. By no means is this book a light read like many other Disneybooks you have come across probably. I would venture to be every Disneygeek out there would learn a new tidbit or two from it. We highly recommend this even with its relatively high list price($65).
