Geek's Thoughts: I was really interested in this concept as soon as I saw it. It reminded me of the Yearbook idea Disney tried several years ago, except this time it focused on a just Walt Disney World. The format for the book is a a bit small for my tastes, but I am guessing this was done to keep costs down. I always prefer larger images. I do like how they choose to go with color photography and there are plenty of images. The narratives are straight to the point.

I think over time having a collection of these books and being able to flip back and relive a certain year or see what happened is going to be fun. One recommendation is they should put the year on the spine so when you have it on the shelf you can reference it.

 

I would recommend this to you collector geeks out there. For the novice geek it is a bit on the light side and really quite focused. Go into with the realization that this is a first year offering. I am curious to see where this book goes in future years.
