Geek's Thoughts: I was really looking forward to reading this book after reading two of Jason Surrell's other books (he wrote the Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean books that looked at the attractions and the movies) and he did not disappoint. This book covers Disney Mountains from the first one, the Matterhorn at Disneyland, up to the most recent, Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom and all in between, even a couple that were not built. I really enjoyed reading through the various stories on the mountains and unlike many of the recent books published this one has a fair number of large pictures and concept art which is a great plus. Like most good Disney books it left me wanting more. I thought some of the mountains received minimal coverage and would always like to see/know more.
