Geek's Thoughts: The tag-line on this book is an imagineers-eye tour and its written by the Imagineers. Overall I found this book to be a quick read. There were a few interesting/new tidbits of information that I had not read before, but many of the stories, facts, etc I have seen in other places. It is nice to have them in one easy to use pocket reference guide.

My largest complaint with this book is its format. It is approx. 4 inches wide and 7.5 inches tall. This is a very tight format and I felt that all the images, graphics, ect.. were shrunk way too much and provided some color when reading but really did not work to illustrate many of the points due to their extremely small size.

This book is 125 pages long and reasonably priced at just under $10. It was originally slated to be out in July when I pre-ordered in June, but it was delayed until September for some reason, not quite sure why.

We are guessing this is the first in a series of Field Guide books to come and we look forward to reading them. We found the book to be an extremely quick and interesting read, even with the lack of a lot of new information for us.

I noticed when reading the bibligraphy in the back of the book that I owned and have read all of the books, many several times so we worked from the same source material. This was a slight disappointment that instead of first hand or archival information much was drawn from existing works that were researched.
