It details her initial encounters with the locals and First Order.

 

I was given this book by a friend as I am not one for fiction books usually but decided to give it a try since it had a theme park angle that sounded interesting. I enjoyed learning more about the history of Black Spire Outpost and found it fun to read about places that I have visited. I found myself seeing quite a few interesting entertainment options for the parks. I was more caught up in mentally comparing what I was reading to the themepark than I was with the story itself for most of the book. I did appreciate learning more about Vi's story and why Kylo Ren has arrived on Batuu.

If you are curious to learn a little more about Black Spire Outpost and the Resistance on Batuu you will find this a good read. If you are a themepark geek like me you will find it interesting to read a story about a place you have visited and some of its history.
