    Making my way through Adventureland toward Pirates
    No changes in the railing work.
    Pirates of the Caribbean returned from renovation today. The wait time was posted at 50 minutes and the extended queue was pretty full when I walked by.

    Spotted this marker at the gate in Frontierland.
    Sleeping Beauty Castle this afternoon
    The Pearly Band performing near the Peter Pan queue. The managed to find a little shade for themselves.

    Taking the path less traveled...
    The El Capitoon and hills beyond continue to move toward completion in Toontown.

    The walls that were up near it's a small world are gone. No real sign of what was being worked on.
    Mickey Mouse greeting guests in the small world mall area. There was a line to wrapping up so you could see him clearly when I passed by.
    Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage will return on July 25th. Today subs were cruising the lagoon and most of the walls are removed.

    At first glance Hank reminded me of the pose I saw at Tokyo DisneySea.. so I dug up the photo and it is a different pose.

    The return date is not on the sign. Disney announced it will be July 25th. There are still walls blocking the queue. All other walls are removed.
    Great to walk up to the Monorail platform and have a view again.

    1:29pm - Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure
    The menu at Smokejumpers Grill has changed. There is no longer a single burger it is now a double.

    Our order this afternoon.. $32.75 after discount (chicken, burger & kids burger).

    The double burger with fries (note you have to pay for the cheese even if you do not want it and mobile order does not have the option for no cheese).
    A closer look at the two smaller patties that now make up the offering. I prefer the old larger single patty and $2 savings more.

    Ornament Valley in Cars Land this afternoon, Racers had just gone down as I walked by.
    Guido is no longer in front of Luigis.
    Some work underway at the entrance to Avengers Campus. I could not get a good picture as the crowd for the Amazing Spider-Man was all around.

    The two patio areas at Pym's have reopened.

    The Rescue Rangers photo op is gone from Hollywood Land.

    3:05pm - Returned to Disneyland

    3:12pm - Decided to give Pirates a try. The posted wait was 35 minutes.
    Why are wait time signs a challenge to photograph?
    The extended Pirates queue was in use.. so I got to experience the new switchbacks.

    3:25pm - 13 minutes into the wait entering the regular queue space.
    I choose to go to the left. Interesting here the far left was a return line for those with passes and it went around the perimeter. My line curved close to the tree. A merge point with a cast member was at the bottom of the ramp.

    4:02pm - Back in New Orleans Square. The pavement project near the exit and Blue Bayou has finished and the boards that I walked on last visit are gone.

    They stop in front of the train station.
