    I started off my visit today on the roof of the Mickey and Friends parking structure. It had been a while since I parked up here. A look at Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.

    Moving on and looking toward the Downtown Disney demolition project. The buildings are gone and nothing is visible from ground level at the Disneyland Hotel.

    A look at where the former buildings once stood. This is the west side where Earl of Sandwich used to be.

    The 2022 Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt is underway at Downtown Disney. I spotted Minnie Mouse above the stage.
    There are redemption locations at the Pin Traders and World of Disney.

    Floral Mickey has returned, it was Minnie for Women's History Month in March.
    Mickey and the gang at the train station greeting guests. Once traditional character greetings return in a couple weeks it will be interesting to see what evolves in the park.

    No real signs of progress on the tree house renovation work.
    Over at Pirates the large trees in the courtyard have been removed.

    With the trees gone you see more of the facade now.
    Tom Sawyer Island rafts are using their usual dock again, the Fantasmic platform work in that area has wrapped up. In the distance you can see the Columbia was in service today too.

    Walls are up around two of the light tower pits.
    You cannot see the progress on the New Orleans Square projects, but the terrace is gone and they are building retaining walls around the trees that remain. The ground will be level in this area for more queue space and better crowd flow.

    My plan was to take the Monorail back to the park and get a look at the sub lagoon work, but the other Monorail broke down. They kept updating us but had no idea when we would be able to depart. So I opted to walk.
    Which gave a different perspective of the construction project.

    Decided to give it a try. At 6:08pm entered the queue.
    Walked right up to the door where there was no one else at the moment.
