    The new elevator area is still fenced off on the floors.
    The exterior looks complete now and the fencing is moved closer to the new shaft as they work to make them operational.

    This is the last weekend for the Christmas festivities.

    Two Omnibuses were out making the rounds on Main Street USA

    Expecting some walls to return soon as the final phases of the Tomorrowland Entrance renovation get underway.

    The panels on the south side of the entrance have been replaced and the scaffolding is gone.

    No real visible progress on the stair project in Tomorrowland from ground level.
    Stopped by the Star Wars Launch Bay and there appears to be nothing for the new film. All the displays still said the Last Jedi on them.

    All quiet at Rise of the Resistance.. only two weeks until this area becomes very crowded.

    Haunted Mansion Holiday runs a few extra weeks this year with Small World returning to the regular show first then the mansion going down for an extended renovation.

    Plenty of extended queue set up for Pirates, not needed at the moment. Not sure if this was from earlier or in preparation for later.
    The Rivers of America were busy today. Both the Columbia and Mark Twain were in operation.

    This weekend the Dia de Reyes (Three Kings) celebration is underway at Viva Navidad in Paradise Gardens.

    There were several bands that performed in the Rose Parade as well as fans that were at the game in the parks today. Some were very easy to spot.

    Next up time to use a FastPass for a final it's a small world holiday cruise of the season. The attraction closes next week.

    As I exited the Christmas Fantasy Parade was just stepping off.
    Passing by Storybook Land. I wanted to visit this Christmas season but the timing never worked out.. every time I had time the wait time was longer than I had or my patience.
    Snow White's Scary Adventure closes next week for an extended renovation.

    All quiet in Frontierland today, except for the extended queue for Big Thunder.
    Found a spot near the Obelisk for Mickey's Happy Holidays that turned out to be pretty bad with several of the groups in the front deciding to stand up at show time.
    So I relocated to Carthay Circle and had a much better vantage point for Mickey's Happy Holidays.

    Carthay Circle Restaurant closes for renovation next week.
    Found it interesting that even during the busy holiday time they kept to the schedule of no shows on Friday and Saturdays.

    The pavement project on Sunset Blvd continues with walls up. I thought maybe it would be wrapped up for the busy week.

    While waiting check to see what FastPass options were left. Only attraction available at either park was Grizzly River Run... no one wanted to get wet.

    I found this funny.. they were stocking the cart and did not bother to hide the shipping label of where the items came from.. What ever happened to the concept of show? First the carts themselves then the stocking carts.

    The work is complete and the scaffolding gone from the restroom area at the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
    Smoke from the fireworks was drifting through the parking structure still.. so it was a little hazy and smokey to walk back to the car.
