  • Page Number: 1
The new Mickey and Friends Parking Structure elevator shaft is moving along. It looks like it is just about ready for exterior paneling.
A closer look starting on the ground level.
    Moving up.
  • Page Number: 2
  • Page Number: 3
Preparations for new pavers in the area between the elevators and rest of the tram stop.
    Panning to the right
And further to the right you can see where the new pavers from the last phase of the project stop.
  • Page Number: 4
A look at the 3rd floor elevator shaft.
Moving over to the corner of the garage work on the last section nearest the tram route is moving along.
    A closer look.
  • Page Number: 5
A reverse angle of the work by the elevators.
Starting to install the pavers starting on the far side.
  • Page Number: 6
Some work being done over the restrooms (between the elevator and escalators. Hard to tell what at this point.
The original large signs for each floor are now removed. Temporary boxes are in their place.
Wonder if these are hints of what is to come, so it will mirror the Pixar Pals structure with smaller rectangular signs for each escalator.
  • Page Number: 7
A ground level view of the work above the restrooms.
  • Page Number: 8
Billboards still feature Galaxys Edge, no Halloween
A couple of fenced in areas as you approach security. Best guess is some more signage.
The tram stop furthest to the right is fenced off. You could not really tell what was being worked on if it was the ground or railings.
  • Page Number: 9
Arriving at the parks about 5 minutes before they were to open for the day. All is quiet at the DVC kiosk.
Same goes for the ticket booths. Several open and no waits.
  • Page Number: 10
This evening DCA closed at 6pm for a Halloween Party.
My first stop of the day, Disney California Adventure.
  • Page Number: 11
    Passing through Carthay Circle.
Grizzly Peak Airfield was a near ghost town except for an occasional guest heading into Soarin.
Continuing up the trail still quiet. Just a cast member or two out. GRR and Redwood Creek were both still closed, with later openings.
  • Page Number: 12
Further up the trail backdrops from the Halloween parties that are not removed during the day.
  • Page Number: 13
  • Page Number: 14
Mickey has yet to return to the top of the Silly Symphony Swings.
  • Page Number: 15
My young nephew was with us this visit so we visited Jessie's Critter Carousel (he really enjoys it).
Today he had the attraction to himself. He went back to back trying out two different critters. Had a private ride with no other guests onboard.
Walked onto Toy Story Midway Mania, had to wait for the next tram to pull in only. Unfortunately our guns did not work. They shot straight left off the screen. So I set a new record for myself. 0 Points (I was green). Not sure how but the other gun managed to hit something so they beat me with a 100 :)

Sulley was out meeting guests.. not many in the area at 8:30am though.
A check of the Avenger's Campus from the Pixar Pal-A-Round.
  • Page Number: 17
  • Page Number: 18
The Simba parking lot project is moving along and looks to be re-stripped and ready to go for the most part. Looked like an entrance on Katella was open.
  • Page Number: 19
Not many cars in the lot at this hour.
  • Page Number: 20
A closer look at the fenced in area.
Went for a flight on the Golden Zephyr since there was no wait.

Mickey's PhilharMagic is splitting time with a sneak peek at Maleficent II. Mickey has the theater till 5pm then Maleficent takes over at 6pm. Today with a 6pm park closing for the party means day guests do not see the preview.
  • Page Number: 27
The theater schedule on the large poster before entering the building.
The walls have been pushed back in Hollywood Land. The Red Car track has stayed so the rumor/thought of it turning left instead of right seems to be incorrect.
The new restaurant in the Avenger's Campus area rising above the construction walls.
  • Page Number: 28
To the left the steel for the Avengers building is much more visible with the new wall location.
The pavement in the area has been replaced with this brickwork design.
And some concrete in the design too.
  • Page Number: 29
The FastPass distribution color scheme matches the new grounds.
The sun was not in a good spot to see the new area.
  • Page Number: 30

    Main Street USA at 10am.
Walls now encircle almost all the planters and walkways on the east (right/Tomorrowland) side of the hub.
  • Page Number: 33
Just the new planters around the wait time board are spared.
Speaking of wait times. A check at 10:04am.
  • Page Number: 34
Walls go out into the street for more curb removal.
  • Page Number: 35
Work continues on the Matterhorn with one side still closed while they repair the facade.
Four light trusses have been added in the hub area. Have not seen what the event is. Seems too early for holiday parade taping. One lead is Disney night on Dancing with the Stars is coming up so maybe something to do with that filming.
  • Page Number: 36
  • Page Number: 37
The Adventureland sign has received a new addition (on the right) since my last visit).
Work still continues with fencing up around the base.

This sign went up several weeks (months) ago now but I have not ridden the Jungle Cruise until today, so here is my first clear picture of it.
Thought this was interesting. Two different brands of ketchup at Stage Door Cafe and Golden Horseshoe today.

While eating a magician was making the rounds to tables. He appears to be one of the performers who took part in the 2014 Halloween Carnival in Big Thunder Ranch. He did not visit our table though.

    Visiting Batuu this afternoon.
  • Page Number: 41
Had some first time visitors to Black Spire Outpost with me so we decided to wait in line for Smuggler's Run. Posted at 35 min which was accurate. It took us about 32 minutes to the preshow room.
Noticed what appears to be a warning sign over a sign.. has it always been that way (I had not noticed)
Random detail picture while I waited...
  • Page Number: 42
Ready to board.. finally drew the Pilot job today.

Casey Jr Time... only one train in operation so it was a very slow moving line.
  • Page Number: 45
Opted to sit in the caboose facing backwards.
  • Page Number: 46
Several trees were wrapped up, guessing new railings going in around them?
The Disneyland Monorail fleet has returned to normal operations and are no longer closed mid day.
  • Page Number: 47
Not a good picture.. but grass has been added a fence and then beyond it paved parking on the site of the former Carousel Inn that was planned to be the Eastern Gateway walkway.
A look at the alternative plan the expansion of the Western Gateway with this walkway and beyond it the Pixar Pals Parking structure in the distance.
  • Page Number: 48
Time for a flight on the Astro Orbitor. From here you can get a much better view of the work around the hub. Starting nearest the Plaza Inn.
The rockwork and planters are gone as well as the curb and sidewalk on the hub side.
  • Page Number: 49
The narrow path to reach the hub.
Not a lot of visible change on the north side work.
  • Page Number: 50

On Pass #3 a closer look. Wonder if that board is marking the new planter.. if so it looks to be a little narrower but longer.
  • Page Number: 51

There were a couple of light trusses set up near the large pumpkin in Town Square too.
  • Page Number: 52
