    7:30am walking toward Disneyland along Harbor Blvd. A steady stream of Toy Story Parking Lot shuttles are entering/exiting at Disney Way.
    About 5 minutes later arrived at security, no waits this morning.
    Making my way toward Disney California Adventure, still 20 minutes until opening but you can enter Buena Vista Street.

    Across the Esplanade no lines to enter Disneyland either.
    No real visible change on the Red Car project.

    Some of the citizens of Buena Vista Street are out to greet guests this morning.
    A quiet morning to enter the park.

    The Soarin queue was out to the walkway.
    They had not opened the queue yet and there were maybe 50 guests in line waiting. It was still about 10 minutes prior to park opening.

    A look around the airfield area.
    They moved everyone into the queue and then at 8am, after the park opening announcement they let us into the building. We were seated in the center section and the outer two sections were not used for the first flight of the morning.

    8:16am and my flight is over.
    Noticed some alcoholic beverages on the popcorn cart menu.. they have most likely been there for a while/long time but the menu jumped out at me this morning.

    Grizzly River Run was not open yet this morning.
    Halloween merchandise is creeping into many stores around the parks.
    Noticed some speakers and other equipment in Redwood Creek as they prepare for the upcoming Halloween parties that will use the space.

    I made my way out to the Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind since I had not yet experienced it due to long wait times in the afternoon/evening.
    This morning it was a walk on with several empty cabins.

    Stopped by the Silly Symphony Swings.
    No wait and only two people on the previous cycle. They stayed on so there were four of us on the next one
    Walking back past the Emotional Whirlwind. Umbrellas have been added to the seating area since my visit a few weeks ago.

    Continuing to pan to the right you can see steel going up for the entrance/facade of the future Avengers E-Ticket attraction. The attraction will not be part of Phase I but the front of it will be.

    A crane was on site working this morning on the Avengers facade.

    Noticed Duke Caboom was moving this morning. Previous visits he was stationary.
    Next up paid a visit to Toy Story Midway Mania! Wait time was posted at 15 minutes, but FastPass return time was instant (well 5 minutes but you can show up early).

    Best of the hour (since it was 9:09am not a lot of competition this hour) but still behind the 8am guests.
    Forky is no longer out on Pixar Pier.

    FastPasses still available for Radiator Springs Racers, want to say return time was around 1pm. A nice addition to the mobile FastPass distribution carts would be a screen with return time info, currently you need to check the App or ask a castmember who ends up checking the app.

    Walls are up around part of the Tomorrowland entrance as they work to remove the curb around the hub and the rock work from the land's entrance.

    I made my way out to the parking structures to check on the progress of the projects there. One of the Pixar Pals escalators was being worked on this afternoon.
    The concrete work for the new elevators is finished and they are assembling the steel structure now.
