Starting off my visit with a look at the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge construction from the Mickey and Friends parking structure.
Along Disneyland drive on the back edge of the buildings more support structures are rising to form the distant/back spires.
The first spires to rise up are slowly being revealed as scaffolding and support steel toothpicks are being removed.
  • Page Number: 2
Panning across the site color is slowly being applied to the rock formations.
Scaffolding is coming down on another of the early formations.
Wire mesh is being added to the steel support structure as the rock formation is extended out toward Critter Country.
  • Page Number: 3
On the far right the blue tarps are still up.
A team working on the wire mesh for the formations.
  • Page Number: 4
A closer look at the formation that has the top couple of tiers of scaffolding removed now.
  • Page Number: 5
Another spire in the distance that is now scaffolding free.
Other spires are just getting starting still.
  • Page Number: 6
The tallest of the original ones continues to be revealed. Notice the workers to get a sense of scale of this spire.
  • Page Number: 7
A video clip overview of the new parking structure construction on the former Pinocchio Parking lot next to the Mickey and Friends parking structure.
Looking over the former tram stop at the project. The second floor of the new structure is starting to take shape.

A closer look. This area will be where the escalators are.
    Panning to the right.
  • Page Number: 9
More forms for the second story are taking shape and support scaffolding being installed. If this follows the format of the current garage this will be for the walkway.
    A wider view.
On the right you can see supports for more ramps starting to rise up.
  • Page Number: 10
A closer look. The columns on the left are the edge of the garage. The smaller ones on the right will be to support the ramps.
A closer look at the ramps that already started on the far side. Concrete has been poured and guessing supports for forms will start to be installed soon.
  • Page Number: 11
More supports for the new ramps that will be taking shape soon.
Out in the middle of the site more columns rising up. Looks like the drilling has concluded. Noticed the double row of rectangular columns. That will be where two sections of the garage meet.
  • Page Number: 12
The round columns are regular support columns throughout the structure, just like Mickey and Friends.
Some utility work underway in the center of the project.
  • Page Number: 13
    A closer look.
  • Page Number: 14

The staging area in the Downtown Disney parking lot.
Another set of construction office trailers is now onsite for the hotel project. These are in a blocked off portion of the parking lot closer to Rain Forest Cafe.
The Disneyland App cleared the closed establishments, replacing them with trees a couple of weeks ago.
  • Page Number: 19
No visible changes to the area yet. The exterior demolition has not started yet.
Security is still open near ESPN and the TVs are still on.

Incredicoaster shirts in World of Disney.
  • Page Number: 23
The final tram stop is behind walls, assuming to have the ramp moved since the trams travel the opposite direction now. This is the stop closest to the park/Downtown Disney.

Two World of Color platforms are raised and have a fence around them as the renovation project continues.

The Dance Off was underway as we walked by.
Next up for us was the Disney Jr. Dance Party.

My score is the red one.
  • Page Number: 43
Still no where near the day or month best.
Zurg has been replaced by a trashcan. Anyone know the reason why? Did he get broken already? Heat related? Some other reason?
