This page is to help you quickly jump through this picture set. Below you will see a listing of the pages and the captions on that page.

  • Page Number: 1
A video clip overview of the new Parking Structure Construction on the former Pinocchio Parking Lot.
A look at the site starting off on the far side, nearest Walnut. Utility work continues.
Panning to the left the first sets of support columns for this section of the garage are taking shape.
  • Page Number: 2
To the left a ramp is starting to take shape.
Wonder if this will be an entrance or exit ramp.
  • Page Number: 3
A closer look at the start of the ramp.
Looks like a second ramp is starting a little further along. Assuming it will be similar to the Mickey and Friends with the ramps feeding two levels and on top of each other.
  • Page Number: 4
    A recently poured support column.
  • Page Number: 5

  • Page Number: 6
    Pouring concrete into the form.
    Looking toward the far end.
  • Page Number: 7
Looking back at the ramps. Looks like the driveway will be on the right and then you swing over to the ramp to/from the floor.
  • Page Number: 8
Toward the tram stop they are drilling holes for more support columns.
Some markings on the roof of the garage.
  • Page Number: 9

  • Page Number: 10

  • Page Number: 11
Looking back at the site from near the elevator.
Moving over to Disneyland. A crane just barely visible near Critter Country in the Star Wars site.
  • Page Number: 12
Only one crane visible above the buildings today.
Not a lot of visible progress since last visit.
    The tarps are still up.
  • Page Number: 13
The steel looks more or less the same. Beyond it the rock work continues to take shape but most of it is out of sight.
The concrete is poured on the bottom left but nothing else has changed in the area. More supplies being delivered for the interior work.
  • Page Number: 14
A look across the roof line.
  • Page Number: 15

  • Page Number: 16
The ramps for the new parking structure and first row of support columns from the escalator.
  • Page Number: 17
A sign for the Disneyland App as you near the security check point.
Work continues on Naples upper floor.
  • Page Number: 18
The Häagen-Dazs kiosk has closed. Wonder if someone new will move in here or if it will revert back to an information booth.
  • Page Number: 19
Healthy lines for afternoon at the ticket booths. Still surprised these get so long with online ordering now. If you want to save time use the online purchase. You can buy almost every type of ticket that way. One exception are Premier Passes.
    Pricing for today.
Stepping onto Main Street USA this afternoon.
  • Page Number: 20

  • Page Number: 21
    Disneyland waits at 1:15pm
The Tropical Hideaway construction continues. The old Oasis entrance structures have been removed.
  • Page Number: 22
Walls up on the Jungle Cruise queue to block the view of the construction.
The Cave of Wonders piece is still there but looks like all the other structures are gone.
  • Page Number: 23
Wonder if this section of roof will receive a full facade or if the temporary tarps will remain to camouflage it.
  • Page Number: 24
The 21 Royal Street entrance (former DreamSuite and before that Disney Gallery).
  • Page Number: 25
The Rivers of America were busy today with the Columbia and Canoes in operation along with the Mark Twain and Island Rafts.
Posted 45 minute wait for Pirates of the Caribbean which returned from renovation this morning. Cast members were saying it was closer to an hour at the queue entrance.
No FastPasses today. That seems wise since the attraction always seems to have hiccups right when it comes back and today was no exception with it down several times.
  • Page Number: 26
With Pirates back New Orleans Square is once again bisected by the large extended queue and crowded with the guests entering/exiting the attraction.
The queue went out to the DVC kiosk and wrapped back.
  • Page Number: 27
The reverse view of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
The crane we saw from the parking garage.
You can still see through the one gap in the trees. Also the other trees look to still be in boxes.
  • Page Number: 28

  • Page Number: 30
On the far peaks some scaffolding has been removed and they are starting to remove some of the toothpicks too.

Made my way over to Disney California Adventure next.
  • Page Number: 42
Disney California Adventure Wait times at 3:15pm
Pixar Pier attractions are now on the board. Found it interesting the Critter Carousel is there since it is not opening in this phase. Also seems it should say the opening date not under refurbishment for them. Lastly a note on Toy Story. No FastPass and it did not open until 6pm today due to the work on the Pier.
Speaking of work on the Pier let us look at the Pixar Pier status with 2 weeks until open.
  • Page Number: 43
Some walls were moved so you get a clear view of Knickk's Knack new entrance.
The entrance archway is not in place yet.

FastPass Return for Grizzly River Run is backed up beyond the shop and it is using switchbacks too.
  • Page Number: 60
Mobile order saved me from the line.. only about 2-3 groups at each register so not a huge savings but still some time saved.
    Disneyland wait times at 4:30pm
Pirates was posted at 30 minutes (and the app concurred). Cast Members were saying 45 as you entered the queue. It was 4:40pm.

Canoes on the Rivers of America.
Reached the sign again at 4:56pm and now it says 40 minutes.
  • Page Number: 62
Reached the building at 5:08pm, I used the right path.
5:15pm boarding my boat. So 35 minute wait.
  • Page Number: 63
The cave section audio has returned to the classic score and dialog.
  • Page Number: 64
A cell phone video clip going through the cave. The audio is ok but the video came out extremely dark.
A new scene is added in place of the water projection that featured Davy Jones. These pictures are really bad.. since I was shooting video and had the wrong lens on the SLR for it... plus I was trying to see it since it was my first time... oops.
There is a skeleton that turns back to a pirate as you pass and an octopus on the ground. I am assuming he is acting as the transition from the caves/skeletons to the Pirates you encounter in the battle scene as you go back in time. He is who is warning you.
  • Page Number: 65
Here is a video clip entering the town passing the well then the new auction scene. Again it is cell phone and not the best but you can get an idea of the new scenes and dialog.
Passing by the well scene.. no changes here jumped out to me.

The location is bolted to the ground.
Monorail Red returning to the park, no guests on board.

  • Page Number: 98
The new toy Story sign is installed but not finished.
Guess they do not want us seeing Dash yet or other effects in the tunnel.
  • Page Number: 99
The crane went up but I could not see what it was moving/lifting.
The lights were red (even though they look a little orange in the pictures.
The Coco photo ops are gone
  • Page Number: 100
