  • Page Number: 1
A video overview of the new Parking Structure construction on the former Pinocchio Parking lot from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
This week I was directed into the very last spot of a row, so starting this picture set with a look from the far corner of the garage (nearest Walnut furthest from Disneyland Drive).
They have started to dig, assuming for utility work.
  • Page Number: 2
Looking to the left a wide view of the entire site.
  • Page Number: 3
Sprinklers set up but not in use this afternoon.
Looks like a path/road cut through the site.
  • Page Number: 4
Some survey markers lined up across the site.
Looking toward the Disneyland Hotel entrance.
Forms are now on site as they prepare for vertical construction. These appear to be for the support columns.
  • Page Number: 5
Working my way closer to the tram stop. Not a lot of activity today, almost all the equipment is idle. This also gives a better view at what appears to be a path marked off/cut into the dirt.
Looks like electrical equipment is being installed on the concrete pad we spotted last week near the walkway.
  • Page Number: 6
Looking toward the back corner now that I am near the elevators.

Moving on to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Here is a video overview. Not a lot of visible change from this angle.
  • Page Number: 10
Toward Critter Country a blue tarp is up. Guessing they are applying concrete and or paint to the rock work and this is to protect the trees.
Not a lot of visible change with the steel structure but the rock work beyond it is continuing to take shape

Looking at the parking structure site from the escalator.
  • Page Number: 17
I decided to walk to the parks today since I have not done that yet to see the new path.
Here is the new walkway from ground level.
  • Page Number: 18
Once you reach Magic Way you have to turn right to Downtown Disney to reach the parks. The gate on Disneyland Drive is not open.
They are boxing up the tall trees along Magic Way to relocate them.
  • Page Number: 19
This is on the gate that used to be the exit to Magic Way from the Pinocchio Lot.

Of course I am heading to Disneyland which had a longer line. If you were curious it was a 25 minute walk from the structure.. I stopped for pictures along the way several times too.

Some still images from my trip (they are a bit awkward since I was shooting one handed, the other hand was taking the video)
  • Page Number: 50
    Storybook Land.
The new structure is imposing and looks out of place to me. Hopefully once the plants grow in it will look better but that appears like it will be a while. Seems a mural or something is needed.

Passing through the hub. More reserved seating for the parade. Interesting how the hub signage is different than that near Coke Corner which actually says Pixar Play Parade on it. Guess this is used for the Fireworks too.

    Disneyland wait times at 7:12pm
Speaking of wait times. I was looking at MaxPass options and it appears the user interface is heading in the direction of WDW's. They had just start times in a box and that interesting warning/error message which did not really make sense with Disneyland's system. So wonder if this is a sign of upcoming changes to the system.
Here is what it usually looks like with just a single box and the full FastPass window displayed.

  • Page Number: 98
I was able to walk to Carthay Circle and as I did the Little Mermaid unit was just entering the area. I headed for the tram to call it a night since it was windy and I assumed the fireworks would be cancelled.
