    The Blue Sky Cellar reopened when Pixar Fest started several weeks ago. Last week I arrived after it was closed. So today I headed there first to take a look around.
    It features a preview of Pixar Pier.

    In the center of the cellar is a model of Pixar Pier.
    There is also a film showing. I skipped this film this trip and will circle back on a later visit.

    The last display is a model of a coaster and how the control system works.

    Next stop Disneyland. The Straw Hatters were performing and characters were joining them. Pluto was dancing as I arrived.
    Donald came out to take part in a drum competition.

    Walking through Fantasyland. This area is much more open now. With the cart and planter gone.

    Next stop Toon Town. This week tried Chip and Dale's Tree House instead of Donald's boat to see the view.

    Walked quickly to Tomorrowland to catch the March of the First Order. Here are some video clips of the march.

    The March of the First order begins with Captain Phasma and her Stormtroopers arriving on the second level of the Star Wars Launch Bay.
    They then march down the ramp.

    Everything in the Launch Bay seemed the same, no new props or video. Wonder if there will be for Solo.

    New characters and it being Star Wars Day meant longer lines than usual in the Launch Bay.
    Rey is new and had the longest wait.

    Walking by the sub lagoon it appears one of the subs is stuck just past the dock, near the track switch for the spur line. Disneyland emergency services cast members department were evacuating guests via raft.

    Work still continues around the tree in the Stage Door Cafe seating area.

    No visible signs of progress on the work around the equipment housing on the island.

    Looks like panels waiting to be installed stacked on the roof.
    The forms we saw last week were completed and concrete poured and they have been removed to reveal a new concrete wall around this side of the carousel.

    The Cove Bar is remaining open as work is going on around and above it. Eventually it will close down for a few weeks for the final transformation.
