A quick overview video of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge construction from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
A wide look at the site from the parking structure.
Starting on the left/north side with the Millennium Falcon Building.
  • Page Number: 2
Panning to the right to the Battle Escape Building. Notice the exterior paneling stacked up on the top of the structures on the right side.
Continuing right the peaks and steel supports rising on the park side of the building.
  • Page Number: 3
No real visible progress on the stairwell.
A red ribbon of siding is being added to the edges.
  • Page Number: 4
A closer look at the three peaks above the Millenium Falcon building.
  • Page Number: 5
  • Page Number: 6
Looks like a first coat of concrete is applied to the small portion of rock you can make out.
The wire mesh looks complete here, concrete should be applied soon.
More wire mesh being added to the steel supports to form the rock formations.
  • Page Number: 7

Moving on to the Parking Structure preparations. The wheel chair ramp on the left loadzone is now gone. Assuming the planters behind the fences on the right are gone too as they prepare for the new tram route.
A closer look. Guessing this will receive concrete in the near future to fill it in.
  • Page Number: 12
Most of the Pinocchio lot was blocked off today with cones.. so not permanently closed yet but getting closer with several sections fenced off for prep work.
They had a couple rows open for buses and handicap parking.
A closer look at the area they were drilling in. Guessing samples as they prepare to start excavation work for the new structure.

  • Page Number: 14
As I walked down the stairs a random picture of the utility work still going on behind the concrete building in Galaxy's Edge.
On the first level of the parking structure the holes have been filled in.
  • Page Number: 15
A new pathway has been cut into the level and asphalt filled in the holes. So it looks like the trams will make a right almost as soon as they enter the structure. Then loop around and come back out through the current walkway (where the CM is standing in the distance). The tramway will then go out and make a u-turn near where the wheel chair ramp was removed and rejoin the existing path there.
As you pull into the tram stop at Downtown Disney walls up at Naples.
Looks like a new entrance/exit being added to reach an expanded patio for outdoor dining.
