A quick video look at the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge construction from the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure.
Several cranes up and working this afternoon at the site, as usual.
Starting off on the left/north side of the site, the exterior paneling is being installed on the Millennium Falcon show building. The side facing Disneyland Drive is just about complete.
  • Page Number: 2
No real visible progress on the exterior of the Battle Escape Building. The stairwell looks the same as it has the past several visits.
Panning to the right the same can be said, no major visible changes.
Exterior stairs are being added to the concrete building.
  • Page Number: 3
Toward Critter Country they are back filling the area between the concrete structure and backstage wall with dirt.
The three peaks continue to be sculpted with more details slowly emerging.
To the left of the peeks a new steel support structure is rising. Here you can see a crane lowering the next piece into place.
  • Page Number: 4
    A closer look.
The crew guiding the piece into place.
A closer look at the rock work.
  • Page Number: 5
Crews working on the structures on the roof of the Battle Escape Building. Could not tell if they were preparing it for the rain predicted for next week or if they were finishing it up.
  • Page Number: 6
Between the structures you can see scaffolding for the rock work facing the park.
Crews working on the wire mesh for this new peak.
The larger peak is having wire mesh installed now too.
  • Page Number: 7
A closer look at the new stairs.
A better view of the back fill work.
  • Page Number: 8
The area looks small until you realize those are full size machines working and moving around with space to spare.
I find it interesting they are back filling this area with dirt. I would have thought with the limited backstage space they would have built out the structures and had storage or office space in the voids.
Scaffolding up near the entrance from Critter Country.
  • Page Number: 9
In the utility area three spheres have been installed.
Inside the Battle Escape Building scaffolding is up as they work on the interiors for the attractions.
  • Page Number: 10
Fences have started to go up at the tram stop as they work to reconfigure it so they can they start construction of the new parking structure.
It appears they are taking out the planters.
  • Page Number: 11
Nothing appears to be going on in the tram parking area that will be removed in the near future.
The Pinocchio Lot was in use today, but will be blocked off soon to start construction.
  • Page Number: 12
It appears the new/temporary tram route will come out of the structure right where the current walkway is then pass through the current security area and turn around. It looks like it will be rather tight during construction.
The Chip and Dale level is now closed as work is underway. It appears this space will be used for the trams during construction of the new structure.
  • Page Number: 13
The ground level view of the tram stop fences.
  • Page Number: 14
As you walk throughout the area there are markings all over the ground.
Looks like only one corner of Splitsville exterior left to complete.
The scaffolding is down and repainting on the roof looks complete.

The interior of the stores is mostly still the original from when the park opened. So it is the over the top DCA 1.0 style.

Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Construction from Toon Town.
Interesting how it looks like the scaffolding floor is removed on the left peak. Maybe so they can see the sculpting work clearly? Seems it should stay until painting is complete.
  • Page Number: 61
On the center peak the floor is still there.
On the right peak it is gone.
